I've no issue with this, but some chat groups require that you show the 1st page of the SPA which contains your (and others) full name, IC no. and unit no. Some (if not most) may not be comfortable with passing this info to a group creator, which is a random person.

If they allow participants to redact sensitive info on that copy, that'll be better.

But if we allow people to join without proof, will it be difficult to control random people from joining? Another other way to prove ourselves as an owner beside this?

Safest way without giving away digital copies of sensitive information: All take part in JMC to verify //slapped

Practically speaking: I would personally advise against giving away things like IC numbers and real name for now, which can be mined and misused.

Ultimately at the moment, until we all get VP and can start to jointly manage strata living, an owner's group is mostly an easy way to contact owners in case shxt happens during construction (and or discuss stuff that you'd like neighbors input). Admin of group must be able to bear responsibility if they lose phone or are unsecure about keeping data.

It's all whether you want to trust a stranger on the internet with your personal information tongue.gif

I agree. That's why I chose not to join an owner's group of another project elsewhere as I value my privacy. Seeing how we can get doxxed/exposed online easily by unscrupulous parties (e.g. cybertroopers), it pays to be very cautious when handling sensitive identifiable information.

I would not trust a random person on the street to safeguard these details.
