salam sejahtera...

saya terimgin nak join kelab2 LC. Di mana saya boleh dapatkan maklumat?
*
boleh join http://www.kom135.com atau http://www.crypton-lc.com smile.gif

thansk for sharing this info. thumbup.gif

I will take this as a reference.
I will wait until my cover "CALAR" a lot and other part getting worst them i will change the cover set, dics brake and gas monoshock. laugh.gif

Welcome dude. I think rear disc brake is not worth, unless the engine power increased a lot. Currently my front big disc and rear drum is good enough ady. I'm still researching on which monoshock is good, hehehe.

QUOTE(rooben90 @ Oct 29 2008, 01:41 AM)
So change engine oil every 3000km is the best ah???....or 6000km....n using the full synthetic 10w-40 oil is good ah... hmm.gif
*
You can actually change at 4000km if you seldom speed. I speed at least once per week for 2 hours around mountain passes, tat's why the oil degrade a bit faster than normal. I chose full synthetic because I always travel short distance. Long distance can use semi-synthetic, as you always have enough time to warm up the engine to decrease wear and tear.

Anyway, I am working on a cheapo mod, which cost less than RM20. If success, we should be able to get more top end power and more responsive engine. Cold start also becomes better. icon_rolleyes.gif

I'll share with you guys if it really works great. Of course, some DIY work is needed. Sending to workshop will cost you a lot more due to labour charge.

agree rear disc is a waste of money on performance but will look darn cool tho', cub design; rear is very light even drum brakes you can get lock up easily

I go directly to Hong Leong Yamaha. They are quite fast.

The performance is good, but stock LC is too slow... If my LC can reach 16BHP and rear tyre change to 100/80, then I will consider a rear disc brake. icon_idea.gif
But I am really scared on rainy days. Disc brake very easy to lock up wheels on wet road, gotta play human ABS.

You cant really rely on manual ABS in emergency nod.gif

true, any 2-wheelers will counter a problem when it comes to braking on a wet road, especially during high speed. nod.gif

most people prefer either Dunlop TT900 or Duro. nod.gif
if got extra cash, can try Bridgestone Battlax. brows.gif
but told you, the cheapest pair of Battlax tire costs more than full body airbrush work sweat.gif

Hey uncle, don't buy at Nibong. That shop lacks professionalism and expensive. RM6600 is a bit expensive too, you can get a bit cheaper from Hong Leong Yamaha. You can do free service in Yamaha Service Center beside Jelutong high way. The Malay mechanics there are quite pro compared to Nibong folks.

Sure, lemme share this guide. It is a simple mod, 0 cost if you can DIY. Else, gotta pay about RM20 - RM30 for workmanship.

First, take off the plastic cover below your basket. There is an airbox with air filter mounted inside.
Remove the air filter and you can see 3 holes. One big big one at the center, attached to carburetor.
There are another 2 small holes on the left and right.
The left small hole is connected to the engine blower pipe, and the right hole is connected to the exhaust pipe.

Right hole function is to suck in air into exhaust pipe to the unburned fuel from exhaust stroke.
Left hole is like an engine 'breather'. If you open the bike throttle, you can feel some hot air going into the airbox. This hot air contains some petrol as well.
If you remove the hose connected to this hole, performance will increase slightly, because you have more cold air (cold air has more oxygen molecules) and no petrol moisture going into the carb. You got a cleaner air.
