nope, ATM there's no official 135lc of malaysia. but got small community such as KOM135, LC Crew Kuantan (LCCK), LC Malacca Club (LCMC) and few others. we gather here in LYN just to discuss bout our ride nod.gif
yes, in order to achieve more accuracy in speedometer reading, sportrims (not tyres) for front should be bigger although we cannot claim it will be 100% accurate.
but bigger sportrims = more accurate speedo = but heavy = less pickup.
This site is good, I go in once a while. However I like yamaha135t.com more. There are very extreme modification information and many of the forum members are professional modders.

If any of you encountered problems in understanding the BM post, maybe i can summarize a bit here:

1) 80/90 --> 80 is the tyre width in terms of milimeter (mm);
2) 80/90 --> 90 is the sidewall height in terms of % of tyre width

For 80/90 tyre, tyre is 80mm wide, sidewall is 90% of 80mm = 72mm wide.
So, using a 90/80 low profile tyre (low profile means short sidwall), sidewall height is the same as 80/90, but we gain more stability because tyre width has increased.
Another benefit of short sidewall is to decrease the tyre 'freeplay' while cornering. Look at those race car tyres, the rim is f***king big, but the tyre sidewall u can see is very small (usually 30 - 35% of tyre width).

IMHO, get a wide tyre with low sidewall profile. It helps a lot in cornering.
If want an accurate meter, js get a digital one. No point sacrifice handling and acceleration for accurate meter.

So fast want to change tyre meh... Penang shop that I know, Dunlop TT900 80/90 is around 90 - 100. in BM, 90/80 low profile is only 80+, which one u prefer la tongue.gif

anyway, 70/80 and 80/80 is a good setting for stock bikes.

its doesnt matter if u use front and rear tyre 70/90; 80/90; 80/80; 90/80 and so on...the fact is how good is ur skill when tackling the corner....if u can memorize every inch of the street..i will sure guaranteed u can easily get high speed when cornering
