erm.... basically i travel about 120km a day (round trip)
so, i guess speed, comfortable and safety are the major concern. First of all, i would change the tyre, front tyre to 80/90 (any other recommendation?) rear tyre 100/90 (ok?) Maybe Dunlop TT or Bridgestone, as budget is not a problem for me. After this, fork clamp is needed since the original configs are a bit crap. How about engine oil? Any recommendation? thanks |

QUOTE(Are_keem @ Nov 16 2008, 09:45 PM) for me, 80/90 for front is too big, thanks for the info, the first time i am gonna to do is to change the tyres once i got it.later bike will felt heavy. mine currently use 80/80, feels good most LCians prefer either Dunlop or Duro, Bridgestone is way too pricey, even the cheapest one costs not less than RM200 per piece for engine oil (EO) I prefer Linx 4T aka Selenia. looks like chapalang and UFO-brand EO but for me it's the best EO I've ever use compared to Shell VSX and Motul 3100. refer to kom135 member in my siggy, most of them prefer the same EO brand too. Engine oil wise, maybe after the run in. I know Dunlop had the low profile series, i might check them out in GTMax, Shah Alam. |

Guys,
What is the best tyre combination for LC? Front 80/90 or 90/80? Rear 100/70, 100/80 or 110/70? thanks |

QUOTE(Are_keem @ Nov 20 2008, 05:35 PM) depends on your riding style. if you're cornering kakis / meleper, thanks mate, wide / low profile tyres such as 110/70 for rear is most suitable. for me, 80/90 for front is not recommended because your bike will felt heavy I used to ride Lagenda with 80/90 front tyre, but for i still think ok...hehe |
