I also got same problem with my LMST... i dunno if its burning oil or what... but i read somewhere that its just condensation... COLD piping and HOT Exhaust gases so it forms CLOUDS... something like that la ll

here are my problems (Drum Rolls! )
Car: Saga LMST with 100kms on the clock and 5 years old (going on 6)

1) Aircon compressor kong (Change RM600 for Recon one)
2) Power window driver side (Press also no response... but i think it has something to do with the contact on the button I didnt bother to replace)
3) Central locking Kong (Never care to repair also... i prefer manually lock...)
4) Radiator fan motor kong (Overheat many times, but i replaced RM80 taiwan brand)
5) My car thinks its a pair of maracas... because whenever it goes on bumpy road... everything rattles... and there are mice in the car too... its a musical symphony without radio...

Im not saying this to hit out at proton... this car has served me well... hey... you cant expect a car that did 100000++km to not fall apart.... lol... my favorite car because i plan to transplant when this engine goes kaput

its normal dude...if white smoke came out in the morning, coz the engine cold and after it burn in combusation chamber, the white smoke will come out....after 5 minutes drive usually it will dissapeared...so, dnt worry..

if yr exhaust came a water bit, it also means yr engine in really2 in good condition like the new car...believe it or not? asking the PROTON CEO

hi guys. wana ask how much is it to replace or repair a new gearbox for a wira 1.6 auto. thnx i think my gearbox is jamed. it keeps jerking and the rpm goes up n the car doesnt move n when it moves it jerks

hi guys, i've got a problems with my savvy 1.3 AMT 1st edition..
this is my 3rd time changed my gearbox because of the AMT...
they said that it is because of the robotic system....and i have to wait for a month to get the approval whether proton will change it for free or else,i've to pay proton RM16000 for the robotic system..i even asked the girl at the counter bout this problem n she said that all savvy amt 1st edition have the same problem like me..they like to use consumers like us a an experiment.this is not fair for us..they should change their strategy because the 1 who suffer most is the consumers like us.....

Allow me to share my experience. My soon to be 3 years Persona door handle on the front passenger side finally broken. I know this happen to Gen 2 but I guess its not rectified on the Persona. I'm also aware of the heavy front door on the Persona thus I take extra care opening the front passenger and driver door but it still happen.

Come to think of it most of the time I'm alone driving the car, how can the passenger side door handle give way first instead of the driver side.

Well there you goes, come on!, the door handle have been used for 3 years so its about time to give way but my family have total of 5 protons, wira 93, tiara 95, iswara 95, perdana and recently the persona. All is still in use until now.

All previous proton car don't have this door handle issue except Persona. C'mon I'm not comparing to other T or H but for god sake at least keep up with the previous model built quality.

-at least they improved a lot on other parts!
btw, do they need to dismantle the door panel to change the door handle? Cuz the last time i ever changed door handle is to my 1984 Civic! It broke when it was about 15 years old with around 300,000km plus mileage on it.

Well that doesn't seem the way rite. Its good they fix and improve area which they previously weak in but why in thing they already get it right in the first place become problematic again (beside its just a door handle). Its like just because I learn something new, I can forget my previous experience.

I'm going to change it myself and heard from a forumer replacing a pair of door handle on a Gen 2 DIY took him 2 hours. Trial and error type.

Hi, My proton Wira 1.6 Auto 97 got problems with the engine! Does anyone know where to fix it and the normal price:
- firstly I saw the word "Check Engine" showed up -> dunno whats problems
- after driving for 1000km the oil status came (I just change oil for 2 months only)
-> come to workshop -> check -> there is no oil at all (lucky for me:( )! The man in workshop said that the engine spoil the oil, so i need to refill the oil again and again..

-- anyone knows where the best place to fix in PJ???

my persona KO-ed yesterday, only 1.5years old...

died in the middle of the road, luckily didnt get smashed from behind

cant start for 10min

then started and drive 10m died again

wait 5min, start again, 10m died again

decided to call towtruck

send to Proton Service Center

till now no news, what happen!!!!

"ini Proton mah.....memang macam ini...expected mah" aduh. this is what i got from MB LIM Motor (Authorized service outlet) located along Jalan Batu Kawa, Kuching. Refused to fix my ultra loose seat belt anchor point adjuster. Told me its memang like that.... WTF.
-drove to Platinum outlet at BDC, Kuching and it was done in a jiffy!!!

to all, i am facing abs problem in my stock standard satria gti '02 rides:

1) the abs light came on & when diagnosed it shown front brake sensor problem which I've it thoroughly cleaned & checked but not front only, even the rear were also cleaned & checked. But, the light still appeared!

2) another problem is, when the light is off (on & off actually) the pressing of the brake pedal wobble with kluk-kluk sound. But sometime no sound & smooth again.

Above problem have been tried to be rectified by not only 1 trusted mechanic but 2 workshop. So, what should i do now? Please advise.

my wira a/b 1.5 auto 2001, shaky when turning ON Aircond after engine start...also shaky like eartquake while shift to D or R gear from either one.

the engine oso die & semput2 if i immidiately ON Aircond just after engine start...mech said this not related to timing but mayb something wrong with whrottle body etc...

how much throttle body anyway? expensive?
any other possible reason for that?

where can i repair it? normal car Wshop can aaa? or Proton center?

hi all. My father's proton iswara car is giving him a problem. Most of the time if the car drove for a long distance, the passager side of the car will leak. Is it due to the air con problem? Moreover, the car aircon will intend to get warmer and warmer if I took it lets say from Subang Jaya to Petaling Jaya. What is the problem actually?

aircond gas? (lucky guess ) or somthing like 'radiator' for aircond faulty?
