Try copying a message on WhatsApp then immediately launch the MyDigi app?

No issue also. My phone's MyDigi never showed anything being copied through clipboard.

if what you said is true then it is not only lousy ,it is devilish,it can be use to steal anything from your phone include password ,personal data, chat contents and etc.

If mydigi app can do this means other apps also could do the same like bank's apps,e-wallet,goverment apps, online shopping apps, even apps download from playstore etc.

So better don't use smartphone to do anything especially pricavy related.
*
This is scary, so better not to use any app unless necessary cos it is impossible not to use smartphone these days.

Hi all, want to ask about VoWifi
Knowing that with VoWifi, when I am overseas I can call Malaysia with local rates when on wifi.

How about if I receive call in overseas via VoWifi? Will it free or get charges as roaming call?

Yes, if on VoWifi, it will be like you're in Malaysia for calling out charges and zero charges for incoming calls.

Do make sure your signal is showing Digi WiFi Calling before answering the call to avoid bill shock. Call will drop if the signal suddenly drops to Digi roaming partner at the country you’re at. Yes, this happens sometimes but it is extremely rare.

SMS sent when on Digi WiFi Calling is treated as SMS sent within Malaysia as well.

You can turn off roaming if you do not wish for any calls to go through when you are not connected to Digi WiFi Calling overseas.

I however, always have my roaming toggled on. Just make sure your roaming voicemail is disabled to avoid any unanswered calls getting re-directed to your voicemail service because once it’s re-directed to your voicemail and you are on roaming, you will be charged as if you’ve picked up the call.

All new Digi 4G sim isn’t PIN protected. And there is a one-time replacement fee of RM10 to change new sim.

If you do not toggle on roaming, your Digi sim will show no signal. So your Digi line is not going to work. But yes, you still can keep that Digi sim in your phone if you have a dual-sim mobile phone.

Are you referring to your contacts saved to your Digi sim ? Contacts saved to your Digi sim is saved locally in your Digi sim. So no. They won’t get transferred to your new sim.

If you are using Android, you can save all your contacts to your Google account. I’m using iOS, so everything is saved to my iCloud.

Wait - Why do you need to change SIM just to goto 4G .
What phone is your parents using? If its a 3G phone, most likely it can fallback to 2G.

And BTW, telcos wont shut down on 1st Jan 2021. You have exactly 12 months till end of 2021- Well it depends on telco - to announce the retirement of 3G bye.gif

For android - Its easy to export to SIM . Just find the option - Copy to SIM and it will be backup on the SIM.

I was referring to the particular question posted. But yes, Digi WiFi calling works even on airplane mode. I wrote on Maxis VoLTE thread last month that a few SMS blasted in after my phone was connected to the plane's WiFi somewhere over India last year.

One thing i forgot when replying early on is that i forgot not all Digi Prepaid subscribers have unlimited calls because in my mind i kept thinking about Digi Postpaid only.

MyDigi app is stealing our clipboard data. It pasted my link from Shopee WhatsApp etc etc without my approval.

Thanks iOS 14 for giving me a heads up.

If you copy and paste porn links then open MyDigi app. DiGi knows what porn you like

A lil update on this matter. I realised that the prompt from the app isn’t always there. Earlier this morning I launched, it didn’t show up.

Then afternoon today, I tried to kill the app, open safari and copy something and immediately relaunch the MyDigi app. The prompt again appeared.

No worries. Not a silly question.
I'm doing the exact setup as yours;
Digi Mnp Live on a modem router, with Cili Padi 28 (Unlimited YT and social) .
No problem using anything on PC rclxms.gif
Even when my kids use YT Kids app on Smart TV via wifi sharing , no problem.

the phone that yoodo sim in..
.
i'm quite sure in digi coz i tried in hotspot frequently..
