QUOTE(nexona88 @ Nov 15 2020, 05:53 PM) actually speaking... nowadays even Maxishit speed is better than Digi... either Digi really going down the drain or Maxshit improve alot I believe Maxis has always been better than Digi especially in big cities with the exception of East Malaysia where Digi is clearly better in more places. I don’t usually see Maxis giving a download speed of 100Mbps or over but the speed overall is consistent, likely their AI is at play here whereas Digi sometimes can give crazy download speed of 100Mbps and then go down to 50Mbps. In some places where the usual speed is around 30Mbps, the speed sometimes go down to around 13Mbps which rarely happens to Maxis. This post has been edited by MilesAndMore: Nov 16 2020, 03:32 PM

Maxis strategy, if not mistaken is to cater the Urban areas... that's the initial plan... but as new developments... they also slowly expend to sub urban & some rural areas too... what I know for those rural areas... king is with Celcom. coverage number 1... there's even joke saying inside jungle can get Celcom signal too

Hence Celcom’s market share in East Malaysia is big. But the funny thing is, Digi and Maxis are both better than Celcom in KK. This post has been edited by MilesAndMore: Nov 16 2020, 05:14 PM

I assume both the telco focus on KK first (since it's state capital of sabah)... make sure it's okay with good speed before moving to others town/areas? whereas Celcom don't do such thing and keep expending into others areas..... neglecting KK as the major town.. my 2c opinion

Hi guys, wanna get an info from you guys since now MCO i try not to go to the DIGI centre to ask.
I have a postpaid plan where i have 2 sub-lines (At RM48 each), and previously bought a cheap phone for RM30 a month at 2 years contract. My contract ends in 6 months.
Im wondering if I can buy another phone with an extended contract at the discounted price.

Currently, sub-line costs RM38 each and it gets a similar package as your main-line. This post has been edited by ckimsem: Nov 17 2020, 09:40 PM

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Nov 18 2020, 06:16 PM) 300mb block? oh okay. No wonder so fast... It doesn't seems like 300MB block but definitely no longer 10KB block. This is the tradeoff for offering more data at the same price point, they have to cut down cost somewhere so larger data block reduced the work of billing server.

Normal log into MyDigi app.. to redeem my free data quota U know how much data consumption? Just to log & redeem.. 0.25MB data burn on main quota.. 😁 This post has been edited by nexona88: Nov 19 2020, 12:19 AM
