Just received 800 grab points but i top up rm200, i thought it should be 5x points using grab mbb card?

*Sorry, it was my refunded points from grab, not the rm200 top up points. But till now they have not credit to my account yet...*

i have talked to CS. according to them T + (3 or 5 days) will get the Grp point. This excluding saturday and sunday.
This card no TP, only grabpoint. So insurance pay, will get grp point.

Is there any way to check the status for the Maybank Grab credit card application without contacting CS? I am an existing Maybank cardholder and applied on Saturday and no news till now. I read from here the approval is very fast. What about rejection? Fast as well or it takes longer to get the news of the rejection?

On maybank2u new UI. if u see your card there, mean approved. U will get sms approval either fail or success within a day.

m2u application is based on specific criteria. pass is pass, fail is fail.

normal submission, would be reviewed by human being, hopefully a more thoughtful consideration on your supporting documents.

use this manual submission as an appeal process (put it upfront in the email content or subject)


if this also fail, then recommended for you to not to keep pursuing (grace period).

Its normal 1st time application got rejected. do as sifu here said. Try submit for human review.

After you successfully got your 1st card. keep it with good record. even not using it...also better to keep it. It make it easier for your 2...3...4...cards(with good payment record of coz)... if you dont hold any...hard for banks to access your financial status hence easy to get rejected. good luck

My application with maybank is not my first card. My 9th card. Online always failed. Submit to human = approved. Probably dont want me to get any ‘NTB’ promo.

I mean my other 8 cards r from ocbc,uob pbb etc

try to top up rm200 with my grab card and fail again
So call MBB CS and investigate say my card limit still show rm300
So they further investigate say will find way to increase back
After 45 mins they call me say finally limit get updated
So now working fine

if you have a history of apply, cancel, apply, cancel then this would affect the judgment.

update to everyone about GRP. based on yesterday post. today i got my GRP point. no need to wait for statement date. The strange part is i got more than 5x point. still calc and update later.

On grab it will displayed as:

Grab X Maybank Welcome Bonus
Grab X Maybank Point
