I decided to bite the bullet and subscribe to CityBB via their website. 24 months contract for 300Mbps. A few minutes back I tried to access their main page and it's showing expired cert: Can't wait to see what other adventures I'm gonna have with them. Moogle Stiltzkin and Jasilu90 liked this post

I checked Unifi site and the box only comes if you take they combined package. It's RM212 monthly at 300Mbps for 24months. Moogle Stiltzkin liked this post

QUOTE Merdeka Promotion - Extended Get 100Mbps at RM89 or Triple the Speed to 300Mbps at RM109 100Mbps https://www.citybroadband.my/residential/ what do they mean by extended until year end. is it that if u subscribe to this price it will permanently be this price? or are they planning to revert to an older higher price after a year? they certainly have some very interesting plans like the RM199 1Gbps but most people probably rather pay the lower plans like 100, 300 and 500. i'm using 100mbps right now, i'm pretty ok with it as a casual user. just rather pay lower prices when possible hopefully the new minister does a good job https://soyacincau.com/2022/12/02/malaysia-...r-fahmi-fadzil/ Gobind Singh Deo's old plan was to increase speeds for current plans. so i wonder what the new minister Fahmi Fadzil has in mind This post has been edited by Moogle Stiltzkin: Dec 5 2022, 08:52 AM |

Yes, this. You can read more about this promo from the website faq, https://www.citybroadband.my/support/faqs/f...peed-promotion/ I'm guessing the upload speed should be 300Mbps as well. |

Current issue is with 5G and 4G coverage for data. EDIT: Government Launches 30GB Pakej Perpaduan Telco Prepaid Plan That was fast Things I'd like to see improved on fibre side is not speed but the reliability. Right now Allo is looking like the worst ISP in terms of support. This post has been edited by John Chaser: Dec 21 2022, 09:08 PM Moogle Stiltzkin liked this post

I just heard how bad allo is but to experience it is really boiled my blood. It took 5 days for them to rectify my internet issue and it turns out that they need to whitelist both mac address of router and onu. My experience of using unifi and time was never this bad. Any issue will resolve within 1 day. 5 days is really really bad
