Can go lower... A cheaper Mobo and a cheaper case.. but I'll swap SSD with the HDD.
Yes, cheaper mobo with shitty VRM. Gonna have to upgrade motherboard again when TS decides to go 3700X or higher.

A dram 120GB SSD cost more then RM200 compare to a dram-less SSD, more than double the price per performance. The only downside of dram-less is slower IO and lesser life-span, for only RM100. Since TS have a RM2K budget, you get what you pay for. BTW, a dram-less SSD still faster than a normal HDD. For the RAM, i suggest 2x4GB.
2X4GB? Then buy 2x8GB in future upgrade. You wanna pay extra?
UV500 still 43% more expensive compare to apacer as430. Like I say, you get what you pay for.
The B450M Pro4 have 4 slot, 2x4GB for now, can upgrade to 4x4GB in future if needed total 16GB. 8GB RAM is more than enough for daily usage and light gaming.

Note though, quad DIMMs can be very tricky to work with on AM4 platforms (especially if you factor something like XMP into the equation)
DRAMless drives can, in some cases perform even worse than a mechanical drive, so that's why TristanX has been advising users to go for a DRAM-equipped one

Yet his budget have room to fit it.
2X4GB is garbage recommendation on 2020. Go for 1X8GB instead.
My pc is mainly for browsing, gaming, watching videos etc. Games I would usually play are dota2, LOL, CSGO, Destiny 2, Cod Warzone. Not looking for a pc with GPU because I'll leave it in future upgrades.
Below pricing without GPU. It is within budget and you can upgrade/change any component as you like.
I have another suggestion.. go buy 2nd hand dell/HP pc from 2nd hand pc shop... Rm1k for the higher end pc, then u add ram and add graphic card... hope should be within 2k budget.
3400G built-in GPU has around the performance of GT 1030.
Damn, that really gave me an idea of how shitty the integrated gpu is 😅 thanks tho, would consider your build, very efficient for everyday use, but I'm open for more suggestions!
Many thanks

Can't find many 2nd hand store in Ipoh 😅even if I did found some 2nd hand store they sell shitty stuff at shitty price. Went to IT Mall just now and many store closed down alr. Found one selling pc parts and they sold out of amd related products. Except a rm3200 pc with ryzen 5 3400g, Kingston 8gb ddr4, no gpu (because they actually sold that separately???? Lol what??) msi mobo(looks like one with gaming features) cooler master 650w psu (maybe 550w don't remember) 120gb ssd and 1tb seagate (forgot ssd brand because I never seen it b4) atx case.
They also have 2nd hand pc costing around 750 (intel setup) and the MOBO is old as fuckkkkk. Seller looked at me and said, this can run dota but I really recommend you to buy new pc.
Also forgot to mention I wasnt trying to play AAA games to be honest, and I am stuck with the daily reply quota so I can't answer everyone's questions.

Buying everything from same shop may get you some discount as well.
Motherboard has better VRM than most of the rest. Only MSI B450 Tomahawk, B450-A Pro and B450M Mortar beats it.

What AAA you want to play? How many FPS and resolution is your target?

Maybe COD Warzone? I don't really have interest in AAA titles yet, cuz I haven't game for a long time. I am aiming for 60+fps and maybe 1080p or 720p on average games (csgo, Dota, lol, destiny 2)
