Just a note, but I think it'd be best if you guys actually go to the ubuntu thread in the software forums if you have problems with the OS. I'm sure the ubuntu experts hang out there, and I bet they can answer your questions about OS related problems best.

QUOTE(tyssxp @ Aug 15 2007, 06:33 PM) Haha. Seems like I checked the option to get source from CD within the synaptic package manager. Now can use WinSCP already. Thanks ya. Anyway, I'm using VMWare. Im using vmwareplayer + ubuntu (not install one, i think is a image). Each time i tried to install the ssh client, i get the prompt to pop in the cd. How did you managed it ? I need to transfer my downloaded files to windows. Thanks. Edit: Problem solved with VMware Workstation This post has been edited by Thunderbolt: Aug 18 2007, 06:34 PM

MY BT very slow. even got 2k seeder but my speed is 2.5kb/s That means your hdd is full.. Delete some files and try again... If you're using VM, then you'd need to increase the size of the partition. Google it for some instructions.

QUOTE(kunimi @ Aug 18 2007, 07:10 PM) black, i cant install ubuntu in the pc (fresh install) iziz because of NTFS? i should use FAT32? Ubuntu doesn't use NTFS as the filesystem. It supports ext2, ext3 and reiserfs.

QUOTE(slash @ Aug 19 2007, 02:36 AM) VMware means I can run xp and ubuntu at the same time? Yes, you can run both but VMware is a memory hog, playing games would be a problem if you run VMware on the background

Hmm. Will this really work?
Last time I heard that Tm net is using something like "Netenforcer" to track connection patterns instead of just scanning the protocol it self?
