How is the belting system in Aikido? How many school of thoughts of Aikido worldwide?

Salute the strict grading test!

Some Aikido dojo will have color belt system. But the Aikikai Malaysia have no color belt. You are white belt untill you get black belt. Will need to take 5 grading test before Shodan (black belt level 1). But once you achieve Shodan you're authorized to wear Hakama, which is a big size pant (looks like skirt ) worn by samurai.

Tae Kwon Do exponent here and maybe going for the Kelantan Open coming soon next 18-19 August 2007

nice in wat sense? Hard nice? hehehe... but for me i prefer strict dojo... train u 9 9...

nice as in look like jap dojo. the ppl nice too altho i dont know em personally. u mau train 99, try kyokushin karate

Any of you guys checked out the "Ultimate Jujitsu Championship" held at Subang Parade last Sunday? It was run by the Tanaka Ryu Jujitsu guys.

for me its hard la...for other ppl wa tak tau..
best u judge for yourself. when sensei ajar, i mau pengsan..manyak susah...but its good lah...overcome ourself

It's a club that does Japanese Jujitsu. They had a kinda demo and in-house sparring competition at Subang Parade. They did some grappling (standing and on the ground). However their technique is a far cry from Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

No one else here saw it at Subang Parade huh?

I believe an instructors will be willing to teach, juz join i the class
