Imagine on the road at between Berjaya at ur left and Pudu Jail at ur right. Go straight and u pass by Teochew Restaurant, Fei Por Chicken Rice and at first traffic lite and there's a Petrol Station (I cudnt remember wat station isit.. either Esso or BHP) then turn right. After turn right, then turn right again and go straight. Its located middle of the shop houses. If dunno, just get down and ask ppl around. Its around there.

Average 4+ years, of course it can be shorten if you're hardcore and train it at dojo everyday. The standard of Aikido in Malaysia is very high compare to may other place, the 4 main Sensei (Aikikai) are very strict during grading test, it's no way "pay for the grading test and get black belt" in our Aikido Association here.

Whoa joining UFC-style competition ah? From what I read from other sites most of them learn the hard type first, den the soft type.

But you can't really use aikido in a combat though... It's against the philosophy, right?

currently i learning wing chun.i feel not very suitable for me.wing chun mostly in hand combat.need be soft and don't use alot energy since this is women kungfu.i like martial art which use hand and leg.i love jeet kune do but malaysia nobody teach.anyone know which chinese or japanese martial arts got use hand and leg ?

haha.i just learn 3 days only.hand skin bengkak bcoz practise vertical punch(like yip man movie-fast forward punch).i and my wife learn wing chun but my wife better.wing chun founder it's women.guys learn wing chun need to be soft like women but not sissy type and don't use   energy.That's why abit hard for guys.wing chun and tai chi are 80% almost same.soft,strike,trap and use chi.

I wanted to take up some martial arts too. Since I'm waiting for result now, I might as well learn something for future use when I study elsewhere. I was thinking between Judo and Aikido. But Aikido is nearer to my place.

But then, since, result is coming out at March, I think and then maybe April? I will be going elsewhere to study. But, of course joining a MS needs to pay for the registration fee and sort of. This means, I will be paying a large sum of money, and then learn it for only two? months before I go other places ready. Do you guys think it is worth it?
