if i not mistaken Tp link MR6400 not support 4g+....so u only getting 4g ........by the way u can do a simple test....switch the sim between your phone and router and do speedtest...if the router sim slower and phone sim faster that mean is your router problem.

i think the best spec 4g router for Tp Link is MR600 but cost almost double of MR6400. in this price range will choose the Huawei B618 unlocked version

I definitely have not reach the 300gb FUP by maxis

So even if no cap right now, i can only get around 30mbps

if over 300gb will capped to around 30mbps

Dont think i will get a difference in speed whether cap or no cap

Like vignaroli said, probably it’s cause your modem only supports 4G network.

YouTube still throttle at 2 mbps, it that the same for other social media apps? 8pm to 12am

I believe all Maxis plans, not sure for fibre one, are throttled at 2mbps at 8pm to 12am for YouTube, Facebook, & Google app updating, whereas downloading, speed test, and gaming are not affected. I'm currently testing on Maxis 188 plan.

No problem on Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre. Mobile plan is on Maxis Postpaid 128 plan. Fast.com speedtest result showed 20Mbps. YouTube streaming is very smooth at 1080p.

Don't know when they will lift the cap... don't tell me it capped until end of MCO (Ogos 31)

Testing on MaxisONE Go WiFi. The speed is capped at 30mbps after 300GB usage, according to my modem statistics.


While YouTube speed is capped to around 512kbps.

mine is fibre + 98 postpaid...my postpaid plan still capped for youtube 8pm-12am eventhough i never exceed 300gb fup.....coz at home i still can connect to fibre, but my shareline rm48 plan which use at my hometown by my parent suffer from this throttling, they mostly stream youtube for those oldies song and i really wonder why maxis can come out with such throttling seriously 480p oso will experience lagging man. i was not happy with it and try to complain to maxis customer service several time but they only create case-id, told me that it was unexpected technical down or network congestion during the MCO period. i cannot accept this excuse because maxis actually come out with hotlink unlimited plan which if they know their network congested should never introduce some plan like anymore.

i try google search for any news or facebook post that maxis user actually got make noise on Maxis or not but seems like other user can tolerate with Maxis suck throttling policy....haiz....doubtful on how they able to get the no 1 ISP in Malaysia

Im make several complain also like this....just use VPN to bypass je lah
