QUOTE(mfa682 @ May 26 2020, 12:35 PM) No wonder a lot of people are disappointed with f2 pro price. Well, the specs are different now. Like you said, just the LCD to AMOLED itself was a few hundreds difference. QUOTE(chicaman @ May 26 2020, 12:35 PM) Bought mine effectively at RM12xx for 128GB during first day launch with free Mi Bluebooth headset which i sold for RM90 Yeah, I think the early birds got a better deal as it was launched during the 3 months tax holiday when PH took over.

ROM: Stock China, no root. Usage: No maps navigation, no gaming, just light browsing with Samsung browser and chrome, watch videos with YouTube vanced, WhatsApp, telegram, lazada and shopee etc. Nothing heavy.
98 percent of the time on WiFi while the rest on mobile data, location always on, Bluetooth always on connected Huawei watch gt2, dark mode always on, local vpn always on, naptime set to aggressive doze with motion sensor disabled, nfc is off, battery saver off.
Nowhere near the league of heavy weight lifters, but certainly wipes the floor with my previous phones. Really happy with the performance since it made it through the day on a single full charge 😁😁 I think we can expect pretty similar performance from the battery of the Poco F2 Pro, which is good. Now just waiting for them to announce it here, hahaha... This post has been edited by attw: May 26 2020, 02:28 PM

Same price as the Poco F2 Pro in Europe https://gsmarena.com/realme_x3_superzoom_is...-news-43420.phpOnly SD855+ (no 5G) and LCD screen, though you do get a high refresh rate screen.

QUOTE(mfa682 @ May 27 2020, 07:06 AM) If price is the same with f2p, which one will you choose? Good question. I do prefer Realme UI over MIUI though the main purpose of getting the F2 Pro would be to try the SD865 chipset, hahaha. We'll see

QUOTE(chicaman @ May 27 2020, 11:18 AM) Not really, I like ROG2 build, battery life, screen and speaker and the stock like android Yeah, the ROG2 looks kinda cool. I was planning to try the 8/128 model when it launched but stocks were limited and there were no good pre-order deals so I moved on QUOTE(bangolufsen @ May 27 2020, 12:05 PM) realme x3 looks good, depends on price to be honest, but i might go for realme x3 mainly for more ram and storage. snapdragon 855 Plus should be good enough for me. but depends on the final pricing too. still have to wait and see: "In Europe, the Realme X3 SuperZoom with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage is officially priced at EUR 499 (about RM2,389). That’s the same price as the Poco F2 Pro base model that’s equipped with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage."https://www.soyacincau.com/2020/05/26/realm...ro-alternative/I'm guessing it'll be in the range of the X2 Pro, 2399-3499. Anything more would be very, very difficult considering it's not a SD865 chipset. QUOTE(Someonesim @ May 27 2020, 12:44 PM) While I havent use realme UI daily, I guess I prefer MIUI, mainly due to long history of MIUI development I currently have a RN7 for work running on MIUI and I don't quite like it due to the bloatware and ads. It's tolerable though but Realme UI appeals to me more. Even MKBHD said the phone kinda stutters because of the UI in the video you shared This post has been edited by attw: May 27 2020, 03:43 PM

QUOTE(Someonesim @ May 27 2020, 03:42 PM) ROG2 around rm2.5k for AP set Best is still: Stock/Pixel/OnePlus > MIUI/RealMe For me: - Stock/OxygenOS > Samsung One UI (WITH SD PROCESSOR)> Realme UI > EMUI/ColorOS/MIUI Have not tried Vivo's FunTouch OS yet though This post has been edited by attw: May 27 2020, 06:10 PM

QUOTE(XXXOOOXXXOOO @ May 27 2020, 06:08 PM) samsung is the worst for me, when u work in banking IT lines, office firewall will alert you every 10-15minute. Yeah, I have a friend who commented the same as well. Initially I always thought that Samsung's UI is the cause of all the idle battery drain but I recently tried the S10 Lite with a SD855 processor - and it kinda showed me that it wasn't the UI, it was the Exynos chip. So I corrected my ranking above

QUOTE(sp6068 @ May 28 2020, 10:10 AM) Not really if you think about it. You got a brand new iPhone that costs less than that And wtf is with the fan free gift? The phone already has a special cooling system, giving this as a free gift just makes it more suspicious. Same price as the iPhone SE 128GB. Probably no one wants the fan, hahaha...

QUOTE(azhar75 @ May 28 2020, 10:28 AM) As hypothesized ... LOL ... 73.3% price increment from F1's 128GB SRP 2 years ago... QUOTE(azhar75 @ May 28 2020, 10:44 AM) Vivo iQOO Neo 3 5G saves the day....LOL... [attachmentid=10502718] Let's see Influencers comparing the SoT of F2P soon... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Your guess is right on the money, bro! Some early reviews of the Poco F2 Pro hasn't been favourable though, the one MKBHD put up yesterday says he even feels it stutters although on the latest SD865, not sure if it's the UI or if he's too used to high refresh rate screen already It's a pity IQOO not available officially in our market.
