IINM, updates for the Poco is a bit slow to come by. Check with mfa682.

However, in general, from what I found, most xiaomi phones will get 2 major android upgrade and 3 years of miui updates (which come along with security updates). For F2 pro, when an update is released, the security patch would be around a month or two before. Updates have been getting more consistent now although poco was a bit slow in picking up the pace on the first month when F2 pro was released here.

Check the security updates and look at the month. If latest security update is 2 to 3 months back, that means its slow bro.

What's a recommended case for this? Spigen/Nillkin/Ringke?

Wouldn't say it's slow since people get updates once a month. Lags behind would be more accurate.

To me it seems like this phone price drop very fast from over 2K to now about 1.5K and who knows in next month or so maybe will drop to 1.3 - 1.4K.
