CSL carries variety of brand of phone. for NOKIA and ALCATEL is 100% original like zitron but for others such as sony ericson you can consider is in between AP n ORIGINAL as in malaysia midland and t-choice have been choosen as distributor. and is true that one the boss of CSL is one of the boss of oconnor's last time.

although similar like AP but one thing for sure is it provides 15 months warranty and the handset with accessories is still orginal from orginal manufacturer. not alike AP might be a recond set or water set.

therefore is safe to purchase units that carries by CSL.

THERE IS A QUESTION FOR ME FOR THE PROFESSIONAL.

My friend from Australia told me that in order to bring your hp to be used there, only original authorized distributor set are allowed, other AP set will be fined or confiscated.

1.Does that mean even I got a AP set here which is original cannot be used outside other than in Malaysia?

2.If my hp is an AP set and is over one year. Can I send my hp to NOKIA authorized distributor service center, NOKIA professional for servicing?

1.Actually some ap set is original in other country,but when u take it 2 other than tat country is consider ap or water set.

AFAIK, in Australia, you will not be fined when using a set brought from overseas. I brought my phone from Malaysia to Australia when I was studying there, and no problems at all.

Yes you can send it to them even though it's after the warranty period. But you will be charged servicing fees as well as the cost of replacing any parts.

It is possible to send it to service center, as mentioned by sonyclie77, charges may applied on certain major replacement of parts and services, even for firmware upgrade a RM30 minimal charges need to be paid...

I think you should be able to register at the Samsung site. The registration is for the Samsung Fun Club right? Anyway, you can always try to register at the site first and see whether your application is approve or not.

oh yea...I would like to know...coz i called SAMSUNG..and they asked me to go flash my firmware at the nearest Samsung service centre wo...but mine's an AP.....will there be any inconveniences caused???lol..

Just go and flash the firmware and they will charge a fee for the process.

erm...i also plan 2 purchase a Ap set of z800i...but the price is 1200-1300...
