Added on May 19, 2007, 1:16 pmwanna ask again.then if i check the imei code is same as the phone behind.and can i say it is a ori hp?need to check box ma?
but i remember my mom buy hp they say the hp no battery de o.enough to check the imei code ma?
for ori set, u can check all for peace of mind, all of the imei should be matching.
the battery will have some power stored, last abt 20-30 minutes, enough time for u to check everything before hand.
if u buy ori set, just make sure the warranty and sticker behind the phone is from original distributor. if so, in case something wrong wit your phone, u can get easily get it check/fix from nokia service centre.

May I know why does the IMEI doesnt match the IMEI on the box for AP phones? Even the manual looks legitimate, for example Nokia AP models here comes with Malay/Chinese language...
I can't seem to think of a reason for this, please enlighten me.
because, when they receive the stock, they will normally take out the phone from the box, put the phone on display (or servicing at dealer level) and simply stack up the boxes in storeroom. So when the phone is sold, they simply take any box and bundled it with the phone, hence imei doesnt match.
as for the phone support chinese/malay language is because the ap company flash the phone to right region pack.
sometime u will get manuals come from dunno what language though.
