what r RECON set?? means no good ah? For AP set,the imei number on the phone must also be same as the box 1?

ok i was wrong. the shop company that sold me isnt the same as the one giving the warranty. the warranty is by HSS. the seller is some phone company. and recon means thy take in 2nd hand phones change the housing and pads and all to sell like new.

my IMEI on the phone not the same as the box. so abit sceptical there/ but yea it should be the same.

Sure there are big!! different between AP and RECON, AP is new phone form factory where as RECON is a faulty phone that been fix then renew and sell to customer as a new phone!!! but how to find out AP or RECON that i duno la
I have one question on ori set, if i bought an ori set in malaysia and is the warranty cover in oversea also such as taiwan, china or anywhere?

I think AP phones are mostly the stolen items from other countries. Like our phones (stolen) or items (stolen) might be AP phone in some other countries.....same thing goes to cars......

what is refurbished? is it still great like new one?

As long as the item is high demanding, anything also can be done la.....stolen goods as AP also possible la.....even stolen luxury cars here also can be found in Indonesia la.......phones? how small izzit......

I dont quite remember if there's any sticker sealed on the ori housing...
If there's no sticker then it's okay... sometimes they do have those seal...

April Comm. Sdn. Bhd. tried to con me with a RM 980 K750i AP set with 512MB MS memory.
ii) They tried to sell me a unit which the handphone's IMEI does not tally with the box. T
heir comments: "For AP set, the handphone unit comes into the country first, then only the box comes in later. So it is OK!" (NO, it is NOT OK!). Warranty by GBS.

iii) Salesman initially asked "How much is outside selling AP K750I", I told him "RM 880"(Reference from GTORACER1). He said "Wah, below cost la. Cannot do la..OK...how about RM 980, with 512MB Memory".

Well I nearly wanted to close the deal, not until the supervisor (when I came back 2nd round) said "RM 980 is only AP Set with 64MB MS"..I questioned him "Didn't your salesman and you just said RM 980 WITH 512MB MS??" and he said "No la, I said the 'phone can support up to 512MB MS only" (Yeah right, it can support 2GB laa, my friend)

What are SE K800, W800, K750's authorized distributor? Midland?
Which AP distributors for these SE model are more reliable? Can anyone recommend some? Most important is the "after purchase" service. Cuz i knew some AP distributor have thier own service center, right?

For Nokia, between Avaxx, Zitron and i-mobile, which of these normally offers the cheapest price? I'm thinking of getting the new Nokia 6233. When I phoned nokia careline, I was told that the rrp cost only RM1299. But when I visited a hp shop in Jusco, the lady told me the phone cost RM1400 (SAMART, i-mobile). When I told her about that, she said the best price she can give me is RM1330. Is this a good buy from that shop?
