So recently I have been reading comments inside some post of wise Facebook page and I found out that there are quite some negative comments saying that their account being deactivated or closed down by wise which money still inside the account. They are calling wise a scam as they said that they did not do anything that violate the rules from wise. What do you guys think ?

People who abuse Wises services to the point it get shut down goes on the internet says they did nothing wrong, a story as old as time.

Over 3 years of using them, nothing but good things to say about them, and great customer service experience.

Those reviews happens because they do not understand that there is daily and monthly limit that is imposed following BNM rules with the strict wallet size as well πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

There's rumours that there will be a black Monday in the financial market of the US, if any suspicious selling of JP Morgan happens, it could be a sign of a country bank run.

Not sure where the Malaysia branch of JP Morgan, Wise's partner will be affected

Don’t listen to so much rumours πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

JP Morgan is still solid as the bank you should be worried off now is Goldman Sachs instead πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

When JP Morgan is operating in Malaysia they have to contribute a reserve fund to BNM as it is an insurance for them if anything’s goes wrong and you should be more worried about whether does BNM able to takeover all the uninsured funds in that company instead because PIDM is limited to certain amount only

Their office is Intermark

so I read we can withdraw RM1000 max per month

so does it mean IF I go Singapore, 1000/3.3 = SDG303 MAX per month

same concept to other currencies?

Yes correct that is because your main account currency is MYR if you open your account in MY.

Any downsides of linking IBKR with Wise and doing direct transfer WITHOUT going through my SG CIMB? Just read that it's now supported, and wondering if I can bypass CIMB SG now completely, thanks.

Try this. I yet to try too. Found in Reddit by /u/deepfried_mind
I will use a UK address.

Workaround:
Issue a digital card from a different country (basically change your address to another country, create a digital card, change it back to your actual address). The newly created digital card can be added to apple wallet for contactless.

Change your country under your profile on the top right corner -> Edit, once you've changed your country, the next digital card you make will be the country your profile is set in. Worked for both myself and a friend of mine, we changed to the UK.

Note that your physical card will still be the same, ie. Wave & Apple Wallet incompatible, only the digital card will work.

Edit: Just tested. Confirmed working.
Easy don't need to bring physical card out overseas in the future.
