US request Japan doing Mass test on Japan citizen and Japan Govt rejected it. Without true covid-19 data, US issue health alert on Japan for US citizen.

Anyone successfully gotten their credits? They keep on closing my case.

Anyone saw the email from Tony AA? So yea, they are aware of all the complains on their social media page. The refund / credit account will take up to 16 weeks which is 4 months.

All airlines are facing financial problem since pandemic. I think Tony had to borrow money from Bank / get aid from Govt. These process take times
Once AirAsia received the fund, they had to start process those refund customers which up to millions people.

Better than Cathay Pacific already. Cathay totally no refund because company had no more money, only got reschedule.

At least they allow rescheduling. Since thats the best they can do, fair enough. Cathay already not doing well before this due to HK's situation. Really kesian.

I booked AA for the purpose of Olimpics. Since olimpics is postponed and the pandemic is still at large, i have no intention to go tokyo in july anymore.
I tried to get credit refund from AA chatbot, but it replies my booking is not eligble because only flights up 31st may is eligble.
I tried other ways, i did refund instead, and my request has been logged. Had to do twice because i have 2 bookings. What should i do now? Just wait for AA to respond or hope that AA will extend the credit refund eligiblity to further more months?

Ps: its frustrating when you cant get hold of definite support and answers when you cry for support from AA.

Hey Guys, just sharing some information regarding refund via Credit Account.

My flight is on 13 April 2020 which is tomorrow. Just few hours ago, i received a call from AirAsia informing that my flight has been cancelled and offered the option of Credit Accounts / Move Flight (No option to refund). I proceeded with Credit Accounts and within few hours the credits is already in my account.

So i guess they are probably processing refunds according to the dates you are departing. So those waiting for their refund via credits account, just wait till 1 day before your flight departure, AA will call you up.

All the request i've been trying to submit via AVA, its still under 'New' till now. So i guess we can just ignore that and wait for AA to call you up

How about your accommodation? Did you cancelled it earlier?
For situations like mine, travel plan is in july, i still dont dare to cancel my hotel booking. What if by july all borders are opened, and AA do not want to allow credit refund. It is still risky to travel.

Accommodation i booked via Booking.com. Therefore, there is free cancellations up to 1 week before the arrival date

Temporary Visa Cancel was due to Covid-19. Japan got alot of weird Law, Example, Japan does't had any law such as MCO, So Japav Govt had to used Emergency State Law to contain them which is Country at War code. Same as this, Japan dont had any law to closed down airport, so Govt just cancel whole world Visa Free, So no one can entering Japan.

I rebooked my flights to feb2021, cannot Sakura nevermind ba next year go skiing instead.

Because Abe haven't told them to lockdown yet. So if no lockdown, people still need to go work and stuff. I guess they will take the usual flu prevention methods if they fall sick but the problem are those asymptomatic carriers.
