Teikoku Hotel are most luxury hotel in entire Kamikochi area. Part of Imperial Hotel line. Imperial Hotel conceriqe are best of entire Japan.
All my Japan concert ticket, Sushi Jiro Ginza (sucker) reservation are done by Imperial Hotel conceriqe.
Bus stop just right infront of hotel so you no need walk another 30 minute to Kamikochi Bus Terminal.

Because I spend all day at Kamikochi, so I normally stay overnight at Kamikochi except Autumn season, too expensive !! No choice had to back to Takayama / Matsumoto

We're planning to go to Tokyo and Kyoto this coming May. Travel around Tokyo, then head to Kyoto, then back to Tokyo. Can we take the 7 day JR Pass and use it throughout our trip?

A 7 day JR pass cost about a return trip from Tokyo to Osaka… plus JR usage is pretty limited in cities, depending on where you are visiting…

you can do quite an accurate estimation whether a JR pass is worth it for you by just using Google maps

Just landed in KIX, nighttime arrivals seem very unpopular so immigration and customs were deserted.25 mins from time the aircraft reached the gate, to waiting for airport limo bus queue.

You should take Nankai Airport Express to Namba. It operated until 12am.

A lot different when you got young kid with you ba (cos of the tons of extra luggage and stuff that you have to bring). Luggage a lot easier to handle lol.

Any bro or sis here knows if there’s any food around 530am around Toyama station? I just found Yoshinoya near the station

Jeez that blardy Alpine website crashed like mad once it opened just now, finally managed to get the tickets but the time is really early, hotel breakfast also not open yet

Yoshinoya , Lawson & Family Mart are 24 hrs nearby Toyama Station.

McD inside Toyama Station open at 6.30am JST

All good, the hotel recommended convenience stores around, should be able to get something, else need to tapao roti the night before

2018 opening day was hit by strong wind/typhoon, so it got cancelled Buses cannot go up to the peak

Toyama Station north side got 7-11 & Lawson.
South Side which is Dentetsu side, got 7-11 & Family Mart & Lawson.

All these convienence store around Toyama Station no sitting table, all standing style

Train with Local, Rapid & Express category train not allow.
Only Shinkansen & Limited Express.

Buy onigiri, easy to eat and no smell. Normally train start from Toyama will be very less passenger. Most ppl are opposite direction heading to Toyama not going out of Toyama.

You still can eat onigiri inside train, split it half and sumbat into month and cover it with mask.

i woke up at 5.30am at Daiwa Roynet Hotel at Toyama a few years back

At 5.30am, I walked around looking for Oden in both Lawson (Lawson was still operating back then), Family Mart, and 7-11 just below the hotel. They (all of them) don't have Odens that early.

But they have sandwiches. And of coz plenty of cup noodles. But anyway, you can buy the cup noodles a few days earlier also.
