Had a look at the car just now. This one is definitely the most solidly built model to come out of proton yet. The doors shut with a reassuring thud, and there aren't so many unsightly gaps. Headroom is greatly improved compared to the original Gen 2 and overall the car looks and feels decent, with ok plastics&upholstery and a sensible layout. The door handles are more solid than the ugly scratch&win rounded ones in the first batch Gen2, and there is a glove box now. This is the car Proton ought to have introduced when they first released the original Gen 2. With the Persona I finally get the feeling that Proton has listened to the Malaysian public. If only they had listened to the rakyat all along and built a car that Malaysians wanted and needed....
Anyway, I hope for Proton's sake that the Persona does well. I think this car deserves that much, irregardless of who built it.
Some 'ppl' need to fall many times to be aware that they do not know how to walk in the 1st place...Anyway, I hope for Proton's sake that the Persona does well. I think this car deserves that much, irregardless of who built it.
