kesian those Gen2 owners.. the Persona killed its own brother!
looks nice in dark purple.. pity there's no Manual tranny for the High-Line!

They didn't killed its own brother. It is expected to have new model superceed the old ones. Just that now there's a fight between Persona and New Waja.

the neo uses back almost 100% of the intake system from the Gen2 except for the snorkel tip, where the neo's snorkel is like the current gen2 only much larger and doesn't slope downwards. the old gen2 snorkel (currently referred as large snorkel by various resellers) is about the twice size the current gen2 snorkel, thus the increase of 1HP

I think they reduce the snorkle for a reason - to improve slightly on the low-end torque.

rather impossible to run a car without air intake, right? tongue.gif

What I meant "other" cars out there don't have snorkel to scoop cool air from outside ..the end of the intake ram or pipe or whatever you call is inside the engine bay (think of m and v) - even campro's intake design is way better than my Savvy's - less restrictive - I doubt the size of the snorkel does make a difference in HP - maybe it's the diameter of the pipe...well bigger pipe is no better also - engine can't breathe easily - like it's harder for our lungs to suck thru fatter straw than just about right sized straw.

ohhh, THAT car laugh.gif tongue.gif

i didn't have the chance to take a peak into a stock standard "one" though. only a heavily modified engine bay done by brothers. with open pod filter and CAI.

This Persona is 1.6 while Myvi 1.3. In terms of power, Persona wins, but in terms of fuel economy, Myvi still better.

just came back from showroom.
the quality soo much improved !
the paint, the finishing, the fitting... i give good thumbs up.
there is no uneven gap at the body panels and the paint also so much better.
i will says the material on the dashboard and other places also so much improvement compare to gen2.

i will says a good job by proton except the engine department which i think lack of power.
so far the prices, i think is worth it.
