QUOTE(remysix @ Mar 1 2008, 05:31 AM) very good la like that...low vdroop, hi clocker, cheap in price...what a good combination...feeling like grabbing one plak Vdroop depends on vcore...my IP35-E has got quite bad vdroop with 1.68v....on load it drops to around 1.64v. 0.04v is critical on High OC. Will do the droop and Vpll mod....see if these mods can yield higher clocks. |

haih ... i'm a bit frustrated.
why is it with arctic freezer 7 pro on 3GHz c2d e4300 the temps are 46'c @ idle and 68'c @ load on orthos ...i feel something is wrong ohh ya im using ac mx-2 and the fan rpm is set to fixed ~2800rpm tried to re-sit the proc & hsf 2-3 times and it's the same .. everything seems tights/firm to me ... and my casing is an open-case This post has been edited by mmohdnor: Mar 1 2008, 11:43 AM |

well what r u using to monitor the temps? by the way its c2d not c3d. And bro, when u use push-pins u have to be careful with pushing it too tight, it can also cause a problem with cooling and the TIM if the sitting is too tight. coz u need a certain displacement between the TIM and both the interfaces.. to allow flow..

Would like to ask, if my system passed OCCT test, orthos test(both tested for 8 hours++), and passed SuperPI 32M, but failed/hang during gaming(such as NFS:Pro Street, COD 4), may I know which parts have the highest probability to cause the unstable problem?
The rig: Processor - E6300 @ 3.15GHz @ 1.325vcore(default) RAM - Hynix FP-Y5 667 @ 450MHz @ 2.1v @ 5-6-6-18(auto timing) Mobo - Biostar Tforce 965PT PSU - Acbel iPower 450W Thanks! |

Really difficult to pin point the exact issue......sometimes it may be driver issue / PCI-e frequency too high, etc etc. For my case, at 4.4Ghz, i cant do 8 hrs of prime...but gaming is rock solid, tested on UT3, crysis for 5 hours straight continuous gaming without a single hiccup. The rig: Processor - E6300 @ 3.15GHz @ 1.325vcore(default) RAM - Hynix FP-Y5 667 @ 450MHz @ 2.1v @ 5-6-6-18(auto timing) Mobo - Biostar Tforce 965PT PSU - Acbel iPower 450W Thanks! |

Thanks for replied! Well, I think my proc might hit the wall the already, even I increase the vcore to 1.35-1.4v, it will still hang when gaming. No other round but have to switch to 2.87GHz(410 x 7) in order to prevent from hang in gaming... |

QUOTE(flatfinger @ Mar 2 2008, 04:15 PM) but previously when I was still using 7600GT, I tried to OC till 3.15GHz, failed also. I tried to increase 0.1v to the NB voltage, failed as well. I not dare to increase NB voltage anymore as the heatsink feel very very hot when I touch it... |
