QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Oct 11 2007, 01:35 AM) hmm looking at the time of post kekek looks like somekind of underground deal...kekeke I think the temperature is ok, as for E6300, B2 stepping normally is hotter than the L2 stepping.Added on October 11, 2007, 1:38 am hmm temps?? not suppose to operate higher than 62 correct if i'm wrong. |

QUOTE(sniper69 @ Dec 21 2007, 10:12 PM) increase all sniper69, just an advice.as for the CPU temp... don't get fooled, it's just i think temperature mis-reading... why? well, the temp similar to my GPU @60°C, unlike the GPU i touched pretty hot compared to CPU which is i can't feel the heat at all i see that ur e6300 is B2 stepping, for what i know, B2 stepping normally will release more heat than the L2 stepping, hence the temp will higher. Mine 1 is B2 stepping also, and the temp is quite high as well, even already change the cooler. |

Would like to ask, if my system passed OCCT test, orthos test(both tested for 8 hours++), and passed SuperPI 32M, but failed/hang during gaming(such as NFS:Pro Street, COD 4), may I know which parts have the highest probability to cause the unstable problem?
The rig: Processor - E6300 @ 3.15GHz @ 1.325vcore(default) RAM - Hynix FP-Y5 667 @ 450MHz @ 2.1v @ 5-6-6-18(auto timing) Mobo - Biostar Tforce 965PT PSU - Acbel iPower 450W Thanks! |

QUOTE(extremeocer @ Mar 1 2008, 06:07 PM) Really difficult to pin point the exact issue......sometimes it may be driver issue / PCI-e frequency too high, etc etc. For my case, at 4.4Ghz, i cant do 8 hrs of prime...but gaming is rock solid, tested on UT3, crysis for 5 hours straight continuous gaming without a single hiccup. Thanks for replied! Well, I think my proc might hit the wall the already, even I increase the vcore to 1.35-1.4v, it will still hang when gaming. No other round but have to switch to 2.87GHz(410 x 7) in order to prevent from hang in gaming... |

QUOTE(flatfinger @ Mar 2 2008, 04:15 PM) but previously when I was still using 7600GT, I tried to OC till 3.15GHz, failed also. I tried to increase 0.1v to the NB voltage, failed as well. I not dare to increase NB voltage anymore as the heatsink feel very very hot when I touch it... |

QUOTE(QiW @ Mar 3 2008, 06:26 PM) ya .. ACE is correct .. sometimes not your OC unstable but the drivers for your gfx .. i am currently facing this issue along with alot of other 8800gt users all over the world .. hahahaaha yup, u and ace are right.I tried to uninstall the drive and use driversweeper to clean all the GC drives, then I reinstall back the latest 1, now able to run under 3.15GHz and no hanging issue when gaming~ |

QUOTE(kmarc @ Mar 11 2008, 10:43 PM) For software temperature monitoring (hence the inaccuracy), it is generally accepted that core temp is more accurate as compared to your own's motherboard software. actually the 48-50C which detected is the temperature of the IHS of processor, whereas the the temp detected by core temp is the temp of the core.My mobo's software shows 48-50'c at load while core temp shows 60-61'c..... correctly if i'm wrong. |
