difference of RM700, besides the A14 chips in ipad air, ipad pro still got other features as in 120Hz, face ID, quad speaker, better camera, etc

dont think existing buyers would regret much?

i slightly wished this came out earlier. but have to look at performance benchmarks of A14 vs A12Z first...

A14 will most likely blow A12Z out of the water for single core performance, multi core workload A12Z should eke out a win since more cores activated but iPad Air 4 doesn't even have 120hz screen so no point also got powerful chip.

however might get an air with 64gb ... more portable to carry , wherever i go.

sama saiz le both pro and air for the 10.5 inch version. maybe air is lighter

I see the price makes me wanna keep my iPad Air 1 for a little longer.

not so sakit, but damn nice for ipad Air to finally follow new design with even more screenspace.

tho i do still like what Pro offer abit with last gen chip.

A12Z, A14..

I bet most of the users can’t tell the difference because the iPads are already fast as hell.

And yes, A14 will probably do better on a single-core basis, the A12Z will be a better performer for multi-core. For me, the 2020 Pro this year is just a minor spec bump from the 2018 model - while the Air just got a total new revamp hence why they both are so close to one another.

I’ll be sticking to my 12.9 inch Pro - Air lacks alot of features that I am not willing to sacrifice on.

Nothing to regret. The screen is better in iPad Pro with 120hz. Camera also much better.

Also higher capacity.

iPad Air based model is cheaper but 64GB is a no for me. Too small already. If getting higher capacity, iPad Pro still a better choice.

Performance wise, nothing to worried as it is already freaking fast in 12z, even if 14 faster also can't feel. But the iPad Air without 120hz will noticeable in animation smoothness.

Just I hope that blue colour also have in iPad Pro, very nice colour. Haha.

Apple move to let iPad Air follow iPad Pro design is a great move. Finally more people can enjoy better iPad.

Finally update to iPadOS 14 and also my Apple TV 4K to tvOS 14 as well.

But ... where is the 4K for YouTube?

Also the new widget is buggy, it will auto squeeze to smaller size from time to time...

Frank speak a bit disappointed on this update. It is buggy and doesn't look final yet.

Hope it is ok to quickly ask here. First time ipad user. Just got a pro 12.9 last week. Noticed that most of the app store images (the app preview images) are not showing, just blanked. Restarted, and even erased clean and setup again but problem persist. The same with 13.7 or after updated to 14 (just did). And not just app store, but apple music as well. Though both still functional as is, just some/most of the images are not showing. Any idea what I can do? Wifi network seems fine. Registered with Malaysian apple id so it's Malaysia app store...
