Hope it is ok to quickly ask here. First time ipad user. Just got a pro 12.9 last week. Noticed that most of the app store images (the app preview images) are not showing, just blanked. Restarted, and even erased clean and setup again but problem persist. The same with 13.7 or after updated to 14 (just did). And not just app store, but apple music as well. Though both still functional as is, just some/most of the images are not showing. Any idea what I can do? Wifi network seems fine. Registered with Malaysian apple id so it's Malaysia app store...

Are you using DiGi? I facing such issue recently since last week or last two weeks for all Apple device I have.

Mine is wifi variant, so have been connected to my unifi. Guess I can try hotspot from my celcom. Then can prove if it is unifi issue. Thanks for the hint

Same here on Unifi. Affecting Apple Music. Not sure App Store as I hardly use it. But on umobile then it’s ok.

I bet most of the users can’t tell the difference because the iPads are already fast as hell.

And yes, A14 will probably do better on a single-core basis, the A12Z will be a better performer for multi-core. For me, the 2020 Pro this year is just a minor spec bump from the 2018 model - while the Air just got a total new revamp hence why they both are so close to one another.

I’ll be sticking to my 12.9 inch Pro - Air lacks alot of features that I am not willing to sacrifice on.

the extra features of ipad pro actually make it more worthy for the extra paid if u ask me.

no reason for ipad air to have 12.9-inch, since if one needs such big screen they should certainly be a pro user that needs it for laptop replacement.

That's why I don't understand why people compare over the two, it's for a totally different audience/market.

I was in the same situation. Couldn't find any 12.9 in store so ordered online. Then from time to time visit the local stores and one day found some in store (in my area I have a few switch stores). Proceed to cancel the online order and happily collected it from store. Normally the online order takes almost one month. One word on calling the stores, I observed sometime the staff is not best informed, or they don't bother to check in detail, and simply said not in stock. So I prefer to visit the from time to time.

Just like how there's no calculator app

Call up a few retailers near you and see if they have stocks. Most of them can hold stocks for you.
