Need use NBase-T SFP, support 10G/5G/2.5G and 1G

it use RTL9601D SoC, this V06 revision have upload issue with 2Gbps Unifi
I have partially patched the firmware, can't test since don't use 2Gbps, I test when do at friend home

so CRS305 this not support NBase-T SFP, support 10G/5G/2.5G and 1G

CRS305 support many mode, for NBase-T must set Auto Nego and use compatible RJ45 SFP

so, forcing 2.5G will make Mikrotik support only HiSGMII

Just revisit the Vsol website again,and it show that HG3110AX does support XG(S)-PON...
Last time i was asking with a seller that not from official...
Maybe someone can buy it for testing
If it works with unifi 2gbps,then it might be the better choice for 2gbps plan. (with pots port)

this will not compatible with Unifi, maybe TIME 2Gbps.
Because Unifi still use GPON, meanwhile TIME already in XGPON (10/2.5)

the POTS (Analogue Telephone) might not work on both ISP, unless VSOL allow some identity spoofing like "User-Agent" on Maxis, this is known security to prevent misuse of VoIP.

VoIP Credentials most important: Username, Password & Tel number.
Maxis have Syntax for its Password without asking CS and Technicians
Unifi are not, you need pressure the Technician to obtain VoIP Password. CS won't entertain even you force them, this what I heard most of Unifi user contacted me after I publish the VoIP threads.

In another note:
some Unifi user got their GPON banned after three bad attempts of wrong OMCI Information. I think 3 or more bad attempt of ONU Authentication

in my home seem not effected, it might grow in some area, calling CS for Port Reset is very troublesome...

I think a lot of user attempt to replace stock ONU with wrong OMCI...

if this went bad, TM might implement very strict OMCI where ODI wont understand and reply with wrong answer...

without OLT access to see what OMCI and expected answer ia hard - impossible to crack, unless stole the OLT 🤣

So if use the Vsol 2.5G ONU (the current unifi usable one) with ATA can work with unifi or not,i mean the unifi phone service.
Because the only reason that i still not having the plan to use custom ONU is due to the phone service,my family still using it everyday,so it must be usable while using custom ONU.
I am willing to buy the ATA device later when receive the free 1/2gbps upgrade.(If using ATA method is working)

I have plan to use Unifi, just to grab their 6 month free offer, at least give me few month of ease financial.

once I use Unifi, I can start experimenting with the Unifi VoIP and see if they have put some restrictions like Maxis that need to spoof

Today I went to Comic Fiesta at IOI Putrajaya, doing COD of GPON ONU SFP, in exchange he give me this:



1. Claim it using same Realtek SDK as V2801F, TWCGPON567 and ODI.

2. Able to extract VoIP Credentials in plain text

3. Has root access!

I going to reverse engineering and see if can make own Firmware

It's rated insecure/10 from my assessment.

I still keep the main device just in case my things go out of service due to my stupidity

Looking forward for what's to come as I'm still waiting for my BCM57810S dual 10Gbit SFP+ NIC to arrive as well as additional supporting parts before I can really unleash the true 2Gbps potential!


Extra side note about the Optical Network Router:
- This is specifically made for TM, you won't find this elsewhere (hence the brown box), nor you can find any details about this device
- ... which means NO GPL SOURCES FOR YOU!
- ... which means YOU CAN'T COMPILE KERNEL MODULES BY YOURSELF!
- Every Ultra plans will get the same device, even for business plans (pity them for having this kind of devices in the first place)
- Don't bother using their APs, get your own APs.
- Their mesh is as functional as the D-Link AX3000 APs you get for 800 Mbps plans, in which don't bother, get your own mesh APs
- You can manage IPv4 port forwards and firewalls, but you cannot manage IPv6 firewall rules
- ... but it has root, so you can just manage IPv6 rules yourself! (and remember to reconfigure them on every reboot because you cannot persist the rules!)

Block Diagram (Revision 20/May/2024):


SoC is RTL9607DQ, ARM Cortex A55 at 1GHz (not sure how many cores)

Same environment as RTL9601CI and RTL9601D, has omcicli, flash get/set, diag, etc...
Run on newer Linux Kernel hence using newer Realtek ASDK instead of Realtek Luna SDK (that used most GPON ONU SFP)

Perhaps Realtek ASDK is for ARM, meanwhile Luna SDK is for MIPS, which is highly modified MIPS, can be run on QEMU to test but complied binary wont run, I have tested, it appear missing Luna toolchain for compile...

this cause RTL9601D (ODI Stick) has very low upload speed, what I assume was correct, OMCI that ODI Stick received cause wrong value (not what ODI Stick expected)!

@Anime4000 my unifi modem has 2 rj11 telephone lines that im using. if i get the sfp module, can i use my rb4011 for internet + telephone line?

I got call from someone claiming be TM...

tldr; TM want user to stop using ODI DFP-34X-2C2 on 2Gbps:
1. Conflict OMCI parameter with D-Link (I blame Realtek for this, inconsistency between RTL960x family)
2. Don't call 100 to troubleshoot ODI DFP-34X-2C2
3. Keep old ONU (when technician come, revert back to original ONU)
4. Using custom ONU, please clone ONU properties properly, no missing single property or even one character! (if this keep wrong or wrong place, TM has right to ban your unifi)

TM not saying this illegal, but trouble for them and technician team

Ayooo.. Looking at the router, dirt cheap. Looks like a enclosure casing bought from pasar malam.

TM's technician knows nothing about networking lol. Their SOP is just to come, basic troubleshoot, change device and go. You initiate any conversation with them related to advance networking, they will be passive and remain unresponsive all the time.

They have rights to ban the unifi account if they identified users using custom ONU? Walao... Shitty company that provides lousy CPE can do that meh?
