neh i gave it to a fren long time back...

but i still have my pentium 100 n pentium 233mmx proc with me... hahaha.. antique... (i lost my older 80386 n 80486 procs)...

i got a fren juz bought e2160 last few days, i still haven't got time to have a look at it, but he claims that his proc can't oc much... it's lower than 330fsb... using gigabyte p35-ds3... with gigabyte 550w psu...

i think new batch core 2 doesnt OC tat well, my brother 4300 OC around the same as me.

Whats the highest u get for ur e4300 @ what vcore? Is it the same result with ur e2160?

I managed 3.3 at 1.425v but since using stock air cooling, decided not to normally run it at such speeds. Dropped it down to 3.0Ghz stock voltage

my 2160 need 1.4V for 3.0ghz, running 24/7 folding
reli not a good overclock chip on my hand mad.gif
if i try to shot it and get it to be fried, i wonder if i can claim the warranty and get a new chip tongue.gif

No wonder bcoz of L2 stepping. It should not be blamed. 3GHz for 1.4V ok edi.

c the box sticker product code...
c the last 5 digit...u should c a code "....................SL9T."
the "SL9T" identifies L2 stepping...

i jz read it few hrs ago...dunno i remember it correctly or not...
