I also think its quite high. Only superPi 1M should ok but for daily use and stability @ 1.56v and air cooling is not recommended i think.

Pentium will not die. The introduction of Pentium back in 1993 was a big hit anyway.

But 1MB sure bottlenecks in many cache intensive application especially games. E6420 perform similar to E2series @ 3GHz

QUOTE(Frankiec91 @ Jun 21 2007, 06:13 PM) Dont try to kill ur ram Added on June 21, 2007, 10:42 pmBy the way superpc, dont you think ur beetle is the culprit for not oc any higher? Or maybe not, try to increase Vmch, Vfsb, and Vcore, L2 needs high Vcore, If u want to go 3.3GHz and higher maybe need 1.5v and above. This post has been edited by §layerXT: Jun 21 2007, 10:42 PM |

It should not be blamed. 3GHz for 1.4V ok edi.reli not a good overclock chip on my hand if i try to shot it and get it to be fried, i wonder if i can claim the warranty and get a new chip |
