Lifespan decreases the time you pump your voltage from what is specified as stock. WC or not, still the same. Basically every proc has a limiting temperature stated in the BIOS, controlled by mobo. And cooling plays its part to maintaining it below that threshold.

Added on March 5, 2008, 6:35 pmat certain point yes, after that clockspeed determines the amount of Vcore u put in. Not FSB nor multiplier, pure clockspeed. By the way, u want a benchmark, do 400*8=3.2Ghz in 1.36V like i did.
