bro a1098113....izzit true that the m0 stepping proc needs more vcore than the L2 ones??coz from wut i've read at some forum their proc needs high vcore...i mean the E21xx ones...
*
Not really... I have a L2, and the FSB wall is way too low for my liking. If you want anything above 3.2GHz, hunt for a M0 nod.gif

@all
hold on your horses guys.. thanks commanders under my legion, flattie, techfrix for guiding this fellas.. but there are few points i would like to state

1. For the Abit ip35-e, i dont recommend a 4 pin PSU, coz its unstable. Play with 8 pins.

2.BIOS 14 is alright. so use it. and dont dream of 3.4GHz yet. Start your first benchmark at 3.2Ghz. Listen, 3.4Ghz is not easy, even for my self.

And Funnyface, we are not talking about Conroes here, we are talking about Allendales with a stock speed of 1.6-1.8Ghz, so u will at least need 1.48V(for the normal procs) to be running at 3.4Ghz, attempting the 8* of course. But if u do go at 9*, then maybe... but very unlikely.
*
That is what i mean smile.gif . thanks for the info notworthy.gif a1098113

no bro, for normal means not gems la.. like mine only needs about 1.46V for 3.40Ghz... u know what i mean now.

Allendales i believe is like a stripped down version of the Conroes la.

@Diamond
yes it can, 2.2V is fine. Not more than that.

Hehe... This time the second core crashed first tongue.gif I am never running ORTHOS at priority 9 again, so SLOW... Want to use PC for a few minutes also very hard doh.gif Anyway, managed to pass 17 hours and 34 minutes, which is 1 hour short of the time compared to running at priority 1.

vDroop is really bad, sometimes only 1.248v shakehead.gif does vDroop have anything to do with EIST/C1E? Because I left those 2 on.

question here:

OC will reduce processor lifespan??

by the look of the theory, i think the lifespan shortened because of the temperatur...
if we maintain the temperatures by cooling it off, will it maintain the lifespan??
is it making sense??? unsure.gif

OC will reduce processor lifespan?? ans: yes, if the cooling devices not doing well
if we maintain the temperatures by cooling it off, will it maintain the lifespan?? asn: yes, with a decent cooling device

by the way since my tracer not coming back from RMA yet....i can't use x8 to OC...so this is 9x378 using value ram....3.4GHz@1.504v stable priority 8.....vbios 1.575v, vdrop 1.55v, high vdroop 1.504v
