not really, takkan la 2 procs have a wall of 460Mhz FSB. thats not likely. I think it might just be the bios revision i am using. Its causing a wall. Eh i am losing options to think about. So anyones got an idea of a nice 500Mhz FSB capable board?

So... now its wat??? Bios??? or memang got unbreakable wall lol.......

its a cpu wall la, i tested on uzairis mobo, still the same, but then his cpu can do 515fsb on the same board, so, conclusion is cpu wall

i am sure theres a way through this wall. Just have to work on it. Or study more on it. Certainly there is a way. Very frust la, OC cannot more than 3.5Ghz for e2140

Hah.... U imagine u bought a cheaper proc than mine but u say very frust bcuz cannot OC more than 3.5ghz.... Mine plak.... Like S*#tx..... hehehe...lol

which bios version u using for ip35-e ?

There is lot ppl using the same board as u ma. It seems that this board dont like low end part to me.

Boleh laa tu.... ur target is 3.50.... Mine, i dunno but 3.20ghz.... boleh tahan lor....

I am using bios revision 14 now. The fastest boot to OS was in bios 11 and bios 10. I wonder if the OCing were done on Bios 10. Bios 12 is the crappiest of the lot. The revision 14 fixes the double posting and also gives identity to qx9650. I am thinking of putting back bios 10 and ocing again, also change all my sinks to thermalright. From PWM to NB and SB, all thermalrights.

i dont think its low end part or what. Its just that the board is stubborn and needs a lot of tweaking to work at 500Mhz FSB, alot of reviewers keep tweaking a secret

i have done 3.52Ghz but it wasnt stable due to heat.. sooo, i know it can be done.

E2140 cannot go that far without exotic cooling.

i'm using e2140, xigmatek hdt-1283, just bought ip35-e....
not install my board yet...
hope can over 400fsb
last time use tp35d2-a7, stack at 390 fsb onli...

thermalright ifx14 or 120x ultra with mod, can support 3.6Ghz but more than that, its DICE or LN lor.

Wat cooling r u using now??? Not planning 2 change 2 a better 1???

the boot issue is the tRD in bios, set it to 8 or 7, in memset its aka Performance level

how about if i come over and poked your mobo with a multimeter + pencil? to reduce say v***** by 25% ~50%
