Just an information, the dedicated graphic card for notebook not necessary is a piece of external card. As for myself, i have a dell inspiron 1420, with Nvidia 8400GS GC, however, the dell technician open up my laptop before and i saw that the GC are soldered on the motherboard. So i think it is not possible to change the GC later on i think. But as for the M1730 SLi and the 1520, i not very sure but i think it might happen to be the same situation, which is soldered on board.
*
1730 SLI graphic card is upgradable whist 1520 is not if I am correct.

My 9400 my big bro wanna angkat go out study already.. so i no lappy use.. so plan get another lappy which can play games.. but dunno 8600GT have better performance then 7900GS like my 9400 or not.,.

and the 8800GTS is coz my old gc really cant use oredy then buy 1..
*
Try not to waste getting a 8800GTS for 1k.Suggest buying a Dell M1730 which can score about 8000 on 3dmark 2006.As you know , when Nvidia comes out SLI 8800M you can upgrade it.

I oredy got a Dell 9400 using vista so kinda used to it alredy.. coz both model im taking are going to be having 2gb rams. should be enough to cure the lags.

Uninstall vista and install XP laugh.gif If compare 7900GS and 8600GT GC.. which has better performance on a laptop..?
*
of coz the 8600GT...i scored 4000 in 3dmarks06...thats quite impressive..i play nfs carbon is maximum gc setting without any lagging...going to try lineage with full maximum setting as well...i just have to love this shit... flex.gif

my spec was 1.5cd2, 2gram, 8600gt, 120g hdd, the rest was standard.
