 Where to complain against unifi, Any government body ?

Like i very much repeat again, the self improvement program is not to protect the customers and ensure service guranteed.
The so call self improvement program that monitors your conversation did not anytime guranteed that it's to protect the customer.
It's only very much serve as a purpose to be abuse by the company itself to prepare itself for any argument that will put them in a disadvantage position.
It'll give them time to prepare a script against customer.
So as a customer, you need to be well prepare to tackle these companies. Especially big ones.
Only when you're prepared , then u can walk in and give them your ultimatum .
And take note, they can even recall that conversation and play it in front of you .
But they're more adapted and train in the rules and regulation of the company. And they're well prepared for what to tell u and what to hide.
But for you, you just listen the conversation once and you can't formulate a proper planning instantly to tackle their question. laugh.gif

May i know which recording app u using now?

Because afaik google/android has banned all recording app and even if u install using downloaded apk it will not work..The recording can only hear my own voice and not the other party voice thru phone so its rather useless only hearing my voice.

iinm its been awhile already about 1 year.

It's call Call Recorder .
I had this version 1.1.79..
I'm not sure if google release any ban on it.
It's still working for me at the moment.
Though i did not update it.

Final update on this issue: TM unifi cleared the error in pending payment and I closed my complain in mcmc. But somehow after a month still getting unifi bills with zero payment. When I emailed unifi , why sending emails still, one of their customer representative replied with same story: you’ve 700 RM pending and blah blah you need to clear. I was like OMG ! I think they’ve multiple systems, with no integration and no single version of information. I complained ago to unifi to update record properly. Finally, they updated and now I’m completely off their system , wew! That was interesting experience!

I kena scammed by TM many times for the past 15 years even during Screamyx era. Once got billed close to RM500 and line barred due to switching package, my mom went to make outstation calls last time during standard calls charges were minute based thinking that the new switched plan allowed unlimited fixed line calls.
Then the TM staff who registered my line refuse to admit and tell me that it was my wrong of not asking when it's their mistake of not telling me about the switching period before hand and demanded I paid the full amount.MCMC back then was useless during the BN era.

Later another issue came again billing issue after I requested for termination of my Streamyx. TM tell me cannot terminate because their system having issue of upgrade or some sort.Delayed 1 full month which I've to continue paying.

Again last year I signed up to takeover a Unifi line from landlord in Metro Kepong and was introduced TM HSBB VDSL2 for high rise. Knowing that my previous owner enjoyed one-time off RM500 termination and assuming that it's the same only to find out one month later they quietly changed the early termination fee to remaining months of contract.

Also when I was sitting inside the coffee shop nearby Jalan Prince, off Jln. Pasir Putih, Ipoh just few shops away from DAP community office here my Celcom line only registered 1 bar but my friends who were using Maxis, uMobile, YES and DiGi all FULL bars. It makes me wonder if there's actually any racial policy/preferences going on among our telco industry.

If you've any issues regarding your line, you'll dread visiting the TM Point at Wisma TM Jln. Sultan Idris Shah, downtown Ipoh. Be prepared to wait for hours just to get attended because every customer they take, the staff will sneak to behind the room for chit-chat, or to toilet then only call the next customer. The waiting time will make you vomit blood.

All those experience will make me think twice before signing up any TM Postpaid or Fixed line plans in future. They should be avoided at all costs unless there's no other option.

Hi, recently I terminate Unifi packages at one of their outlet.

When I received final bill I was surprised they slammed me with rm19xx early termination charges. My 2 years contract already over Aug 2021 but somehow the final bills shows that my contract was renew in their record for another 2 years in Oct 2021 without my knowledge.

Complaint to them via Twitter and spoke person agreed there is error based on her verification and would bring issue to next level of mgm but wait 3 weeks still no reply instead they kept sending me sms and email reminder to chase payment.

I decided to report to Mcmc but till today nobody was respond to my complains

What I get now is email from their debt collector, so call Kudrat & partner who threaten to take legal action within 3 days. Also get a call from Unifi staff and insist I must pay and pretending never seen my complains in Twitter and MCMC portal….also mentioned if I don’t agree I need to visit Unifi office again which I felt is unnecessary (petrol, my time and annual leave free one meh?? That place hard to find parking too)

Anything else I can do? Get a feeling they no longer scare of MCMC.

1st of all, did the staff tell you you were under contract while terminating?
As for the renewal in Oct 2021, did you claim any free months promo/router upgrade promo? those usually come with small text t&c that they will renew contract for 2 years.
