Cool. Began training so fast huh. SL is badly needing fresh grads this year.

Previously the training was conducted every 2-3 months break. Now it seems if one training ends, another start right away. I was curios about this because i seem to saw lots of ppl coming out from the reception. My guess it would be training.

Anyway, enjoy the honeymoon while it last ^^

what bout BA / BS ?

BA and BS dun have to attend rpg training. Only technical.

They r hiring fresh grads more aggresively because they need them for the new project.

BA n BS may come slow until they found the right candidate i assume. Its because only Credit Card team uses BA if im not wrong.

ya the trainer told us SL still hiring 80 programmers
the training is getting harder for me because i'm still new to the system
anyway will try my best to cope with it !!!

I hope u could cope with it. At the end of the day, the training wont help much when u start working. Haha. The real training start when u assign into a team and given a task.

For those that are undergoing training in SL, mind to tell how much they pay you for starting salary? I got my offer letter too but still considering.

How bout the increment? Benefits? And the future prospect of RPG programming?

ya, they need a lot of ppl. But if u read this thread from the beginning, turn-over in SL is damn high. No annual bonus also. Increment dunno high or not. LOL. If u want can go apply la

as i saw in Jobstreet......SilverLake is still recruiting....lol

i got fren working there... get overseas but to bangladesh..

pay u allowance when overseas is still ok... but heard that bonus and increment only will be given to employees that works more than 2 years in SL.

can u help me ask yr fren, SL got give wat benefit as a newcomer?..coz i now is still looking for jobs.....whats advantages and disadvantages?

What benefit u expected to have?

Internet? No. Only Gmail, Gtalk YM, MSN
Bonus? No. Company trend.
Increment? Depends really.
Turn over is high. Why? Ppl come in to get experience, then leave after received a better offer be it from clients or other company.
Travel? Depends on the team ur in. Luck plays apart.
