.NET? I know some of friends in front-end / DPS are touching on .NET but I can't be sure.

@Vinci: I would be surprised if I can find you, haha, too many of credit card people running here and there =d Any chances you know people like Sow Thin / Shin Huay?

Hello everyone,

I heard that this company sent their employee to outstation and oversea.
Which department delivery services to outstation and oversea 1?
Is it credit card project?

Agree, Oversea is GOod Experience. where we get to travel and meet people at different places.

but outstation/oversea OR not outstation/oversea depend on luck.
you might not be as lucky as those minority.

might probably based in office waste months time in there.
Cause we cant prefer any department or the team that we like.

even if u are oversea... you will be going country like Vietnam, Philippine, or something similar like those place la......

By the way, .........local support 45 perdiem..... oversea work without visa 90 perdiem..... Normal OT rm15.....

so, hmmmm sad.gif

Good luck la. READ CLEARLY before u really accept the OFFER. smile.gif

as a fresh grad, i would go for experience not money
experience that would allow you to get better offer somewhere else
even you base at local site, the experience you'll gain in banking and as400 is vast

I think at most by 1 week they will let u know. Hope u get ur news next week biggrin.gif

In addition to raigores OT info, normal OT until 8pm is rm15 while OT after 9pm is rm40. Bigg diff huh? Haha.

Oversea or not it depends on the team ur in and luck. Some fresh grad are given chance to support overseas while some might stay in KL evendou after years of working.

Overseas client including Indonesia, Thai, China and Japan as well.

Silverlake is a platform or stepping stone before we jump into bank which offer us higher salary. That what my friend always say.

that one i'm not sure ... i'm not from as400 team tongue.gif
but most of the banks still using as400, only a few use unix as far as i know
so high chance the future is bright since migrating to other environment is not that easy

Its very expensive to change the whole system i assume and it wont be cost saving for banks.

If the AS400 can perform the task, there isnt any reason to change. The only possible changes i can think of is conversion from RPG to Java since there is limitations in RPG. But it will take years of R&D to convert the whole system without effecting the current dev.

About the increment thingy, i think there is none for those who join in at 2008 and the increment is only around 10% this time.
