Can I just walk in to any TMpoint branch to send my TR code? Because for termination not all branch can do it. Do I need to return back my unifi router and TV box to them?

You need to go to TMpoint, can't send TR code to TM authorise deeler or those promoter in malls.
Refer here and find the nearest one for termination:
https://unifi.com.my/support/tmpoint

No need to return anything as long as out of contract. Since you are switching ISP, the new ISP also need to use TM's BTU during installation.

Got a question. The Maxis free TV need to subscribe to postpaid plan & bundle together in order to be eligible?

In terms of stability, definitely UniFi is much better, been using my Maxis Fibre for around 1 year, facing a lot of issue which including packet loss, ping spike and slow speed during peak hour. The technical team came to my place replaced a new router for me but the problem still persist. I believe the bandwidth of Maxis Fibre around my area is congested, therefore the issue arise only during peak hour. Luckily Maxis Support is surprisingly quite good for my case and their customer service is available 24 hours, currently trying to make a follow up complain to Maxis, hopefully they will fix my issue. Beside this, Maxis One Prime is pretty much worth the money thou, this is the reason I'm still staying with them.

Already 2 weeks migration from TM to Maxis... i dont feel any different. Maybe due to using back my Tenda router. When initially using Maxis Archer c5v for few hours I did felt some drop in download speed but once I changed back to Tenda started getting back the same speed as TM.

The Maxis installer did only change the router and connected it to LAN 2. No new fibre rewiring or new modem. I m still wondering if Maxis is having their own fibre bandwidth or its the same as TM's. Maybe some Sifu can enlighten.

Until this moment Maxis still investigating my issue, I've been suffering from slow connectivity for the past 3 weeks already ranting.gif You mentioned after you changed the Archer C5V back to your Tenda the speed back to normal? Is this possible for you to test for me bro? As the router Maxis replace for me is the same model you mentioned.
https://www.meter.net/ping-test/
If you don't mind, can you test your ping by using the website above on both C5V and Tenda? Keen to know if there's any ping spike. My ping is spiking like crazy where it could reach as high as 500ms.

As for your question, Maxis indeed using the infra of TM, therefore there's no need to rewiring the fibre.

Good how’s the process to switch maxis from unifi I’m already fed up with Unifi since they not ready to appreciate their loyal customer plus keep increasing price just like Astro. I heard many of them happy with Maxis even my old household owner had maxis after I moved in I go for unifi as they was cheap in 2017 time.

Go Maxis center to register, then submit the transfer ID to TMpoint.

No that's a scam. Go to proper maxis center and register, then submit the transfer ID to TM. No charges for switching.

I m getting the same speed with Maxis fibre as well. I reused my Tenda AC1900 coz Maxis router wasnt giving me full home coverage.
So no complains. Now waiting for my 65" TV. Most probably by 2nd week of Nov.

Wow free tv. What else maxis offer us for migrated from other ISP to them? Thinking of change now, my contract finished this month.

Do you go through the correct process? To switch from Unifi to Maxis, first you go and register your Maxis Fibre. Bring along your Unifi bill so it's easier for them to trace your address.
After register, bring the transfer ID, go to TMPoint and inform them you want to switch ISP. TM will process the switching in 10 working days and release the line to Maxis. It's just like MNP.
Gone are the days you can install Maxis first then terminate Unifi.

If you cannot walk in to both TM and Maxis center, maybe there's some agent which can help you settle everything.

Thanks for the inputs. I have enquired with Maxis. They said will use the existing port. Waiting for their technical team to provide me the TR code.
Will bring the code to TM point once I have it.

Yes, u better go to maxis center to apply for the transfer ID but u need to ask the following 1st:
- can install or not 1st during this pkb(a/b/c/e) period? need a firm answer, otherwise u need to wait until your area not redzone, only will install.

Their installation team is very dolan macam.

Initially told me that maybe wait 1-2 weeks for installation, then due to red zone, cant proceed with installation. Now i say nvm la, cancel it, suddenly can install. But installer FFk. knnccb.

No bro, cannot test. Once installed 24 months contract.

1. You should go Maxis center to avoid any possible problem. Bring along a copy of your bill so they can trace your address just in case.
2. Yes.

have heard about ppl saying after switch to maxis - eventho is same infra as unifi - got drop line, slow connection , ping not good, etc etc (dont know the terms.lol)... do u think wise idea to stick back to 100 mbps if under maxis?
