Do you go through the correct process? To switch from Unifi to Maxis, first you go and register your Maxis Fibre. Bring along your Unifi bill so it's easier for them to trace your address.
After register, bring the transfer ID, go to TMPoint and inform them you want to switch ISP. TM will process the switching in 10 working days and release the line to Maxis. It's just like MNP.
Gone are the days you can install Maxis first then terminate Unifi.

If you cannot walk in to both TM and Maxis center, maybe there's some agent which can help you settle everything.

Thanks for the inputs. I have enquired with Maxis. They said will use the existing port. Waiting for their technical team to provide me the TR code.
Will bring the code to TM point once I have it.

so for me if i want to switch frm unifi to maxis, can test the connection first if dont like then cancel? im no more in contract with unifi d?

so summary is if im ready to change,

1. i should go maxis center first? or dealer also ok?
2. get transfer ID frm maxis and bring to TM point?

thinking to get the 43" TV since i barely watch tv and every1 in the house just really dont watch TV ..

thinking to stick with the 100 mbps which what im using unifi now 100 mbps paying about 149 RM... (maxis is 129)

have heard about ppl saying after switch to maxis - eventho is same infra as unifi - got drop line, slow connection , ping not good, etc etc (dont know the terms.lol)... do u think wise idea to stick back to 100 mbps if under maxis?

Your 100mb is expensive. It should be only RM129 even though Unifi. As for Maxis, I think that depend on your area. Some have very good experience over Unifi, while some have bad experience.
