Unifi plus box just activated. No sound. What is the problem?

TVBanywhere it's not free streaming. you need addons as a ala-carte.

I just received unifi plus box 2nd gen version, its said can connect port 4 from unifi router i try many time also cannot if connect to other port is no problem. If like this no different with 1st gen , any member can connect to port 4?

You connect BTU or wifi router? Not connect BTU
And is TM router or but own self? Like TP link router, LAN 1 is unifi TV, not 4
Check on router setting

My existing is white box just change that lan cable to this new unifi plus box. While box can use why this nex box cannot. Nevermind i still can use wifi and other port.

In my case, i too orderd the free UnifiTV plus box, once the technician was here, we tested, and i preferred the white box. And moreover the technician said, this box is nothing more like a android box and unifi apk install, hence its same as installing the apk on our android tv.

So ended up keeping the white box and installed the unifi TV apk on my android TV

meaning the new unifi plus box unlike the white box during hypptv era, utilize the router port 4 as vlan 600, cause this port 4 will not consume our internet package bandwidth as i remember
if new unifi plus box cannot use the port 4 vlan 600, then probably you can change your router profile to free that port

for Asus, we can choose unifi business profile to free the port for hypptv

But I watch TM Unifi Plus Box Gen 2 introduction youtube video and it does mention can connect to port 4 o

I already got this box and cannot use port 4, just connect notmal, picture quality also like install at android tv. Not same like white box. but never mind because this box is FREE

port 4 vlan 600 can be configure to normal port, not sure yours is it this case

for example my asus router, i can use unifi business profile to free up port 4, if using unifi home profile, port 4 is vlan 600

hi , i notice that my unifi plus box can screen cast tv. previously i realize that my plus box ...have certain time limit to use screencast.

i do realise the unifi white box previously , i can screen cast as long period of time.

can we setting the short period of time for unifi plus box

Anybody came experience the Unifi show blank black screen after change channels?

OR you want to switch channels, it cannot show up the channel list?

my UNIFI TV STB can't be on .... its the silver version n used it since 2013..... how much is the replacement now in 2022? and do they offer free replacement to existing loyal unifi users?

New ones have more features as its basically an android tv box but it will use your main internet connection and not the dedicated line from port4
probably will ask you to recontract to get a new box

You are better off buying a new box ie Mecool KM2 Plus

Can claim free plus box via unifi portal, but refresh contract 2 years

I rather wait for better deal before contract lock in lol
