Can I use the unifi tv box without unifi tv plan or is a must?

Can but just normal android box cannot install many app. Better buy mecool km2 or km6.

Hi. I just got my UPB 2. I don't know if this is normal, but I could not find Disney+ Hotstar app in the play store. However, there is the Disney+ app. I do have a Disney+ Hotstar subscription, which obviously will not work on the Disney+ app (not Hotstar).

dont update, after update cant sideloaded app anymore. need developer password! i so regret to perform the update.

i think it does. but you'll have to subscribe for the multiroom feature from astro. i have yet to try it. i'm also interested to watch astro from the tvbox but haven't try it out yet

oh sh*t .. i took the bait.. anybody have or manages to beat this password requirement to enable USB debugging after the update? appreciate guidance

Box bad or the playtv app is garbage that crashes all the time? These keep happening

- Launch app, app crashes right away, back to home
- Launch app, change channel, app crashes, back to home
- Use time shift (ff, rewinds, cat-up etc) crashes, have to be very gentle with it
- "streaming connection interrupted" (OTT-01999) error pops up sometimes, usually have to restart
- "replace device" page appears sometimes, usually after restarts, then it'll restart again after "replacing device"
- Sometimes it'll just crash for no reason, freezes in the middle of playback

Usually happens after taking the box out of standby. Need to restart the thing almost daily now, very annoying, and I'm terrified of using the time shift features. Anyone else with the same issues?

update ur Unifi Plus Box for the latest and update ur unifi tv apps on ur play store unifi plus box.
After use the latest security and the latest unifi tv apps, no more lag or no need restart always.
