I'm thinking to use the trick in the link below, it is a pricing glitch which is allowing users to gift (maximum 2 persons for gifting) the Series X cross gen version of COD Cold War for $10. It requires a user to purchase the standard Xbox One digital version, and then perform the $10 upgrade on the xbox store. This "upgrade" seems to be giftable at this moment so that is how the trick works.

This is for the Series X optimized version with significantly enhanced visuals and 120fps framerates on both Xbox Series X and Series S.

We all know game prices are so high nowadays, so I'm thinking if I could get 2 persons who are interested in this deal, maybe we could split the cost of the 3 copies once redeemed. Based on my quick calculation it could end up at around RM118 per person using the Argentina store if we split three ways. I would only be able to access my Xbox tonight, but if anyone here has access to Argentina store and an Xbox now maybe we could get started earlier

TBH I'm a PS fanboy since PS1 days, but I really feel like I can't defend Sony anymore. Just look at this, plus the countless bugs PS5 is having right now makes me worried about my pre-order.

It's not just Sony or anything like that. I noticed a long time ago that Japanese design sometimes prefer simplicity or shortcuts. Whether it's good or bad is subjective. While American or German designs sometimes can be over engineered or even unnecessarily complicated, they do have a reason for it. It's not just being complicated for the sake of it. I do like Japanese design, but over the years I started appreciating American and German designs more.

I grew up with a mindset that Japanese engineering is far superior than anything else on the market. Sony as a brand was cemented as some godlike engineering monolith in my mind.

Let's see how my PS5 holds up later. Perhaps I gotta change my mindset and get with the times.

Have been using the Series X for a few days now. It is everything I wanted it to be and more.

Everything loads so fast with the SSD, and the framerates are buttery smooth in virtually game I have tested. I have been out of touch with console gaming recently due to the inconvenience in the past few years. Going back to the ancient long load speeds on my Xbox One after playing COD Mobile or PUBG on my phone didn't make sense. On top of that, the constantly dropping framerates on Xbox One was very noticeable. Because of this, my Xbox Controller has spent most of the past MCO months strapped to my phone mount for COD Mobile. Lot of phone comparisons I know, but I think it is relevant to the times.

I can safely say the Series X is pulling me back in to console gaming again. The drastically improved load times is such a huge improvement, fast travelling in Assassin's Creed Valhalla and switching cars in Forza Horizon 4 feels as fast as loading a game on a smartphone, except it's on a huge tv playing in 4K 60FPS with HDR! Testing out games which have suffered in performance last gen like PUBG and Jedi: Fallen Order and now running in locked 60FPS is just so exciting. Gears 5 is a great showcase and the multiplayer is more fun than I expected too.

Quick resume works like magic. Game pass is also the best value in gaming ever, nuff' said?

Seriously I'm having such a great experience that I am already shopping again thinking of which next Series X optimized game to get. I have been waiting so long to be this excited again for consoles, next gen is definitely here and it is off to an incredible start with Xbox.

Okay now we are on this topic, I have a burning question to ask -

Would you rather buy a wireless gaming headphones that is XBOX optimized, or just use your standard headphones with Dolby Atmos for Headphones?

I’m on the fence to fully experience this, although the standard headphones requires a 3.5mm connection, which means if I watch a movie / show on Netflix, my controller has to be ‘on me’. But are these ‘gaming headphones’ really worth it?

Times have changed. I was actually a huge Sony supporter in the 90s and 2000s. And I don't mean Playstation.

I would always choose a Sony over anything else. Walkman, TV, discman, home theater set. Samsung and Goldstar were just ok brands back then. It's a Sony after all.

Goldstar is now LG, and together with Samsung, they pretty much are the market leaders in display technology. In Samsung's case they also became a huge mobile phone manufacturer. I couldn't have seen anything like this would happen.

I'm not condemning Japanese engineering or anything. After all I like Japanese culture very much. I pretty much go there every year (except this year for obvious reasons). It's just that they have somehow lost their edge, while others continue to innovate.

Simple, will only give you 1 reason.

Reason 1: If money is a concern, Xbox due to ultimate gamepass + eaplay. Period.

Not sure you need a special one headset or not but maybe can just try a standard one test first?
Make sure to download up to date Dolby Access in your xbox console before testing.
