Does your Freesync/ VRR set to ultimate ?

Mine basic if not wrong, xbox series x won't pick up
So i change to ultimate and then VRR can be ticked.
But during game, i will face the image turn black for 0.2 second and come back or is it so called "flicker" ?

So right now my setting are disable VRR sad.gif
I saw some ppl said need to turn off HDR as it conflict but i dun wan give up HDR lolz..
No idea, i think so far only left Germany country has the "HDMI 2.1" promo under their page : Germany Sammy Q950T

Lots ppl sent email to samsung regarding this but you know la .. those "supporting team" basically useless and read from script one..
Right now this model also lack LPCM which they said will have a new update to unlock it by this month.

But i must say this sound bar does outstanding performance when it comes to Atmos.
Glad that Xbox give us option to have Dolby Atmos to immerse with the game biggrin.gif

I hope more game will implement with good audio.

Future update will also support Dolby Vision for gaming.

It will be a very immersive experience to play games on Dolby Vision / Atmos.

Right now my TV is only limited to 4K120 without Dolby Vision, or 4K60 with Dolby Vision via HDMI 2.1. Should’ve gotten the LG CX OLED instead 😩

but check on that website like support only 100Hz

Oh really? That's really odd to me. Part of the HDMI 2.1 spec is support for high resolution and refresh rates. Including 8K/60 and 4K/120. The LG TV can't call itself HDMI 2.1 compliant if it doesn't support 120Hz I think.

https://www.hdmi.org/spec21sub/eightk60_fourk120

This Eurogamer article also lists the LG Nanocell 86 as having 120Hz support.

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalf...hdr-gaming-7009

I want to say the 100Hz is a typo, but that's the official LG website. Maybe more research is required then.

On the TV you mean? Or on the console? I don't really have to do anything to be honest. As long as I connect to the HDMI 2.1 port, my Xbox One X detects that the TV supports VRR and HDR too. I don't have a Series X to test it with though, so I haven't tested out a game running with both VRR and HDR yet.

But since you were talking about Freesync Ultimate. On PC monitors it's a legitimate issue. There are monitors that are Freesync only, and there are monitors that are Freesync Ultimate. My Acer XV273K does support Freesync and HDR, but not at the same time. If you enable HDR, Freesync is automatically disabled. These are Freesync monitors.

If you want to enable both Freesync and HDR, then you need Freesync Ultimate monitors. They're not that common yet. Also, they're much more expensive than just Freesync monitors.

Impulse one is EU set with 3 months warranty. SG set you can get below RM3000 usually comes with 1-year warranty. If you ask me better go for the SG set for a better peace of mind.

On Samsung TV there are freesync can set basic or Ultimate actually.

Only turn on Ultimate will trigger the "VRR" tick box in my xbox console actually.

Supposedly on the Q80T there is no setting to enable or control Freesync settings. From rtings.com:

The Q80T supports FreeSync variable refresh rate technology. There is no setting to enable, as it now turns on automatically when the TV detects a game being launched from a device that has VRR enabled.

The Q80T supports FreeSync when connected to a PC with a supported AMD graphics card, or with an Xbox One. Unfortunately, it does not support FreeSync with NVIDIA's new Adaptive Sync drivers, as NVIDIA's implementation only works over DisplayPort, which this TV lacks.

problem is... the moment Qisahn restock their Series X, it's sold out within one minute, Series S also sold out within few hours

they are still a lot more demand than supply, with worldwide chip shortage now,
I don't see the production can catch up with demand very soon like what they predicted previously that stock can normalised in March

Dear friends, Any possibility to get stock from Qisahn..
Very hard for gamers looking for upgrade nowadays.

Xbox series X is hard,
GPU is hard. (I would love to get a 3060TI at MSRP) but it looks like, All sellers are selling at inflated price. For profit.

I am even thinking to get a Xbox One X just to fullfill my need.. or do you think it is better to get a Series S (resolution is abit low for newer games)?

The console manufacturer should not launch their new stuff if they cannot fullfill theier demand.

Same for GPU paper launch. Nvidia GeForce Lazada official store has every normal priced GPU out of stock.

agreed. if u buy another console now later u wan get series x u gonna pay more in total. u not gonna replace series x any soon also. the whole generation maybe can last for 4-5yrs?

if u buy from qisahn also around 2.2-2.3k already include shipping.

Yeah, i think so, waiting is a painful.

I agree it will last a long time.

I still remember during XB1 PS4 launch, I can get both console without any trouble but this gen is really bad.

Checking daily is like an OCD, two days a go see the Series S on Qisahn, oredy in cart. i end up not buying it, because i know i will be buying the SX. However X1X is ok, becasue i think treat it as PS4 pro without the next gen expectations, especially used. Just having the urge to buy things, especially during CNY season.

Unfortunately my GPU is a little out of date, if not i can just kill the wait with PC gaming.

not really gaming much apart from weekend, but the waiting is painful... Temptations.
