Good price, cheaper than most Shopee sellers.

Looking at the stock situation, most of the retailers here are taking stocks from either EU/UK or Japan hence the higher price.

I guess if you need it now, GH’s pricing is decent

Take the normal price benchmark:

Series S - RM1,499
Series X - RM2,199

Then self judge 

I don’t think you can get 2,199 now for the Series X. Those were the price from MS Singapore, and now the entire world is facing shortage - retailers are getting it from other countries with higher conversion rates.

Like I said, if you can wait out until Jan/Feb next year, hopefully the price will stabilise again.

Xbox games have been region free since Xbox One era. So you can use any game on whichever country you bought it from. If you still watch Bluray (not 4K Bluray. Those are region free) though, most Bluray discs that are sold in Malaysia are region A. UK is region B, so if you to try to play a region A disc in a UK set, you will not be able to. Japan uses region A though, so you won't have that issue.

Xbox Series X also uses universal power supply, so you don't need to worry about voltage issues or buying a power adapter.

But i feels like... i will upgrade to Series X also hahaha..

Anyone here who have managed to pre-order Xbox Series X 3d batch from Qisahn where the ETA is 14th Dec 2020?
Last week got notification that the Unit has arrive , supposed to send to Malaysia last week but then when email them they say only will deliver within this week,high likely cannot get it before Christmas.

Anyone from Qishan who got their order shipped to Malaysia already for 3rd batch Xbox Series X?

My pre-order with Game Hunters just got cancelled earlier today. Reason is that, the stock is very limited and they could only deliver to those who paid earlier than me

The average market price is within 2.9k-3.2k, depending on dealer. If you can wait, probably wanna hold back until Q1-Q2 2021.

I pulled the trigger on Saturday...paid a huge premium for the SG set (to take advantage of the warranty). Currently playing FIFA 21 (XS enhanced) on it. Was pleasantly surprised by the uptick in graphics quality from the One X version. I actually thought the enhancement would not be that significant. Now considering getting the AC Valhalla and/or COD Cold War but just missed the new year offers.

If you are upgrading from XOne, this is a significant update. If upgrading from One X, not sure if paying the premium price now is worth it. But no regrets on my side...

I bought the Series X. No point for Series S, IMHO. I paid at least RM1000 more than the "official" retail price. :confused:

I use the  Microsoft rechargeable battery pack.
Had it for my Xbox one controller. Just removed and placed it into the series controller.

X1X is powerful but the HDD inside will kill u cause longer loading time.

XSX has quick resume also another game changer.
Even u using energy saving mode, from cold boot > into game less than 30 seconds ~ 1 minute total.
Everything load fast = no wait

and u also said "waiting is a painful"

I use the official Xbox rechargeable battery on my Xbox One X. The batteries can also be used on Series X/S controllers.

Eneloop is rechargeable AA batt, but u cannot charge it using type-c cable. only xbox battery kit can charge using type-c.

That’s expensive.

Personally. I would only consider the series S if
1. I don’t have any current gen consoles/difficult to get.
2. I also need a media center.
3. Can get the series S at retail price or lower.

Which somehow seems to be the case with series x / ps5 being extremely rare still. It’s a good stop gap as a gaming device with the ability to be a good media center.

Storage wise...
1. Not too bad if you’ve fast enough internet to download games.
2. Can use an external hdd/ssd. Quick resume should still work.

If you already have a series X or even a one X though. Then I guess it’s not that compelling unless you really like the design/emulation machine.
