It's year end holiday sales period, where traditionally Nintendo is the king of sales there, also there aren't any major PS4 games releases around that period as well

MS already forsaken Asia Xbox market, period.
and Sony's PlayStation still will be sales chart champ in Asia, period.

my main console journey

NES -> MD -> N64 -> GC -> PS2 -> X360 -> PS4Pro -> ???

and I got all the other consoles (XB, PS3, Wii, XB1S, Switch & etc) as secondary consoles
too many games... too little time

my next gen main console most likely will be XBsX, the force is extremly strong with that one
PS5 doesn't have any attraction to me yet...

reports are coming in that the XBsX is running very hot,
basically it's a mini portable heater there with hot winds blowing out when it's running only XB1 games
can't imagine how hot it will be when it's running next gen games

But hot air also meaning the giant fan and the huge heat sink is working as intended
and I think we should have more space for air circulation around the console this time

yeah, that's the concerns of many as well, the RROD nightmares are still fresh, I lost 2 units of X360 to RROD until the arrival of Jasper unit

from the teardown videos, it seems it's well designed this time, using big aluminum block, huge vapor chamber heatsink, and one big huge fan, looks well engineered, so I think internal running temp shouldn't be an issue this time.

while on the other camp, still nothing on the teardown, PS4's heat issue was pretty bad, anyone owning one will tell you how loud is it when running complex games.

I DIYed one using the washer on the x-clamps, lasted me for a few months only, tower trick doesn't seems to work for mine

Dusted off my x1s yesterday, took almost whole afternoon for the massive updates & game download on my home clogged network

looking at the new UI it's definitely better than the old one, also with the inclusion of the EA pass into the game pass? OMG lembu suci!! there are tonnes of AAA games in there I wanted to play so badly, not to mention I get to play Destiny 2 Beyond Light at launch for "free"??!!
But my X1S is showing it's age, small HDD and it's clicking sounds is making me mad, how I wished for a XsX right now.

Dusting it off just making me wanted a XsX sooooo bad

I had similar experience few years back on the NES Mini preorder
my preorder shop increased the price of the console at launch, citing their supplier increase the price hence they have to increase also, the problem is I found out most other shops they honored their PO price
told them it's unethical to increase the price at launch, even I can afford the price increase and very desperate for the NES mini, so I cancelled my PO with them and end up without a NES Mini till today.
Did I regret my decision that day? Nope, I'm glad in stand by my principal for not supporting any unethical shops
FYI, that shop has since folded, got too many bad reps

So even if GH today is selling a XsX at RM1299 super discount price I won't buy from them also.

It's not the matter of monies, it's the matters of principle.

both is good, if you got the moolah, buy both

imo if you want the full experience, you gotta get the compatible headphones

my first wiresless xbox headphone was razer chimera 5.1 for x360, it's very good imo compared to normal wired one, except the crappy battery life
next was Sony Gold wireless for PS4, it's good compared to normal one,
then I upgraded to Steelseries Arctis Pro, it's compatible for both XB1 and PS4, albeit no chat function on XB1, it's best purchase of my life, good batt life, comfy, doesn't gave me sweaty ears or head pressure from prolong use, and damn good audio too
too bad next gen both console doesn't come with a optical out anymore, meaning I can't use it there
So gotta look for a new wireless headset for next gen consoles, so far the reviews on Arctis 7x isn't bad, might grab that one once I got my next gen consoles
seems that one is compatible with both camp also, which is another plus point.

seems few already paid and received the so called "PO confirmation" in the mail?

Those buyers can kiss their RM800 bye bye then, if they clicked confirmed received, and already rated the seller, Shopee will release the payment to the seller already.
After that, Shopee washed their hand, and the scammer seller is laughing to the bank, while the scammed buyer is still patiently waiting for the "PO" console to arrive in next few months.
And they'll only realised they have been scammed after the console never arrived and the seller disappeared by closing shop on shopee.
