Hi guys, would like to ask who here applied for credit cards during RinggitPlus Flash Deals and actually win something? I saw their flash deals 28th November to 4th December can win Apple Watch, but only today they updated their website. So fishyyy. Maybe your their internal members to apply all first? Then only open to public?

for those without limited units (Mi Band 4, etc), yeap you will get those gifts. But for iPhone and all (I know you saw the recent iPhone one), only limited to 50 units. Lord knows how rigged the internals are (Asking family apply first, friends, etc).

yes, its scam, now never apply from ringgit plus, all direct to bank, confirm dapat 1. I already reported to NCCC waiting them investigate about the fraud

very difficult to get, unless they post the adv now, next sec u c it, then the following 1min u finish filling up all application + upload all documents then yes u might stand a chance.

i tried my luck on signing up the lazada card + rm500 voucher via ringgitplus, end up rm200voucher only becoz my card was approved after the promotional period.

Be aware that when you sign up with them. They will keep calling your phone even after 3 years I have my maybank card I still get calls from them. Damn annoying

Its quite a good way to fish for commissions since many ppl will try to apply. Better than they give out unlimited quota for other gifts

So far ive got juicer, google home mini & tefal rice cooker. Ok la. But last time got promo vacation package. Redemption very confusing and a lot of step. End up wrong fill in info then burned because code can use once only.

The recent contest is 50x iPhone 11 Pro. Literally applied 1-2min after the flash deal is out on their FB. Let see if i manage to win it in April

CompareHero (and maybe RInggitPlus in the past) used to determine the sequence based on approval/activation date. So even if u applied on the dot, really depends on your luck whether the banks processed your applications quickly and if you received your card fast enough to activate.

It seems Ringgitplus modify the T&C recently to be more fair? Though it's vague and I understand why they don't want to give a clear guidelines or commitment lol

They won the Apple watch last year. must swipe 3 times after approval.

Tactic is to apply for the card that approve the fastest, which is always Citibank. But can only do this once a year.
You must be new card holder (not holding any card of that bank for last 6mths).
So just apply and get your prize within 3mths, cancel card after 3mths, wait 6mths for the cooldown period. Then wait for another campaign.


When they post on FB is slow d, go read the T&C, sometimes I see actual start date is 2 days earlier.
Different campaign different T&C, some need swipe to win, some only need activation, none use approval date.

Yes almost all of the credit card campaigns under Ringgitplus are flash deals which means gifts are assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis. The good thing about Ringgitplus is the distribution is based on the time you applied on their website, not the time you received and spent using the card.

I dont think winner is announced. Either RinggitPlus or bank will directly contact the winner for gift collection.

Yes recent Ringgitplus campaigns are based on time of application on their website, not time of bank approval.

Sometimes their immediate family members are not eligible one. Must see the T&C.

That is why in FI the employers ask who your family members are.

Actually by paper is based on submission date and time via Ringgitplus whatsapp. but actually there are hidden rules suck as quota per bank etc. they also informed me that they follow bank approval date. Quite misleading and look at your luck.

RHB processed and approved my application damn late (like 2 months)

Then MCO happened. I asked them to post to my house (coz I initially choose to self collect at branch) and they said can’t.

So I don’t bother to go collect now

Ringgitplus submit my application to RHB within 1-2days. RHB took like 2 months to approve my application. Once i got the SMS, i call the CS again and listen to the auto-machine (?). Somehow it said my application rejected in March, then approved in early April (?)

Anyway, i don’t bother already. Asking the KL branch to mail it to my address in Puchong, and they said can’t (like wtf?)

haha..means go thru Ringgitplus.. not direct with Bank.. perhaps just cancel the credit card with the bank since they said can't.

Old Process last year was we submit our basic details to RinggitPlus and RinggitPlus will send the details to Bank and Bank will contact the customer for the application
New Process started this year is submit to RinggitPlus , then RinggitPlus process the application and supporting document and send it to Banks for approval. It might just a simple call from the Bank for verification or even no call from Bank.

The Old Process is faster and no delay since there is dedicated Sales Agent in Bank will follow up cases, faster approval. (for my previous CC and I got the Flash Deal gift)
The New Process - They have high number of application and slow process, submit to Banks with batch and slow down the approval process. Bank approved my CC but I was't notified untill I call Bank to check after I saw the record in CCRIS.


And RinggitPlus is pretty not transparent for the selection of the winner. I have been told that there are quota for each bank and selection criteria also based on approval date, not submission date as per in the TnC.
I have even been told they will put me in priority list for next campaign bla bla. So can see is it a "Scam" haha

Actually to be fast, can just apply foreign bank CC. They are damn efficient. I think Stanchart even have instant approval and online activation now. Somebody said she activated her card just within 1hr after applying.

Too bad i already had Citi, and my HSBC and Stanchart is in cooldown period

It was good before 2020. I also got about 1.5k of good and vouchers too (I applied thru Ringgitplus with limited information and only provide supporting document directly to Banks). but now.. things change over the time and they use Flash Sales to attract more people to signup in order to cover the cost of the high value flash deal items. If you notice, they are using over 3K worth of items (or even 1K of Cash)ust want to attract application for few days. Due to surges of application and RinggitPlus Contact Centre is not able to do it fast.(they told me no enough manpower).
Email replies are pretty delayed and need to chase several time before got responded. I notice direct application with Banks is getting easier now since Citi, HSBC are giving out more realistic & guarantee item such as Lazada voucher, TnG Reload Voucher or Grab Reload Code etc..

RinggitPlus is smart using attractive gift as flash deal to collect bulk application while the grand prize is actually giving to "own people". Read the T&C it is first 50 applicants who "submit" to RinggitPlus platform, not first 50 "approved" customers from banks. Even though you are 1st approved by bank but you are number 70th applicant submitted in RinggitPlus, you are not consider first 50.

It is truly unfair where friends and family members of RinggitPlus staffs have already waiting in front of PC to click "submit" the moment the flash deal is on. Maybe 10 out of 50 grand prizes are allocate to public while 40 units are RESERVED for own people. RinggitPlus staffs are not allowed to participate, but family members and friends are ALLOWED and they get first hand info before public.

Guess what, the flash deal opened for 3 days but on very first day they had collected thousand over application. They are CHEATING public to apply even on the 2nd and 3rd days when these people is GUARANTEE no change but RinggitPlus still reply user the deal is still available. It is absolutely not genuine.


I hope banks do not support RinggitPlus on flash deal anymore as they are using their trick to lie on public. It is not scam but it neither genuine.

Nowadays RinggitPlus is not genuine anymore unlike last time. Now they use expensive gift in flash deal but those are being RESERVED. I did asked them how to select the winner and they said they went thru strict fair process but they are not allow to reveal. Then I called up to bank to check and find out I am very earlier batch of applicant being approved but bank officer told me all decreation is subject to RinggitPlus. Which mean even though I am 1st to be approved by bank it doesn't mean I able to get the big prize because it must fall under 1st 50 applicants in RinggitPlus platform. Mean those 1st 50 people who submit in RinggitPlus even though they are number 100th approved by bank they are still eligible for big prize. After I find out from bank then I contact to RinggitPlus again and by then only they told me in first 30 min the flash deal open there are more than 100 applicants applied and on very first day more than thousand applicants. Imagine how many insiders already know the deal open and applied before the public. From now on I will only apply thru bank official website to grab the guaratee items.

Actually I also discovered those flash deal by browsing at RinggitPlus website randomly. In fact, based on TnC it is based on the application date and time via whatsapp. Bank has no idea since RinggitPlus is just a agent and get commission for each successful applicants (or other stuff with we are not aware off) They might just simple give a reason since we can't do any thing. The winners are "real" since they did published the list of winner. but the selection criteria is not clear and i believe there are undisclosed criteria which is P&C.

Ya, there are real winners since they published the list but most likely majority winners are "orang sendiri" like their own family members and friends. And those who do not get the grand prize they are simply give away of cheap luggage bag and simply stated the cost of the luggage bag is worth of RM 300 or 400. It is better to avoid this kind of nearly scam kind of campaign. If giving Lazada evoucher is better cos we can spend on useful stuff than receiving luggage with no way can go in 1 or 2 years time with this pandemic happened.

HI, anyone apply HSBC via Ringgitplus? i just did it. Is it normal they don't require you to submit any form? i just clicked apply and RinggitPlus chatbot get some basic info from me via Whatsapp then a number from 0388947026 called me asking a lot of confidential information.

i find it suspicious and check the number. not from HSBC. then i told her to drop me an email to prove you are from HSBC , then she asked for my email address, i gave her and then i hanged up the phone.

already 2 days. i don't receive any email.

I won a PS5 from a Citibank credit card registration promotion run by Ringgitplus at the end of last year. But PS5 was out of stock everywhere so they gave me RM1.8k Lazada voucher instead.

i only apply those with guaranteed gifts.

I got 3 x from ringgitplus and comparehero.

how long did you wait after you spend using the cc until you get the gift?

Hi. I signed up a HSBC credit card through Ringgitplus and eventually i received email from RinggitPlus saying that I won a sign up gift offered, an ipad mini.

They asked me to allow for 21 working days for gift to delivery to my hand starting from 8th Feb 2022.

However, until this minute, I have not receive my gift. Asked RinggitPlus via email and Facebook about this. However, no definite answer given to me when i will receive my gift.

Anyone have similar experience? If i want to make complaint about this, is it appropriate to complaint to Consumer Dept under KPDNHEP?

yes, they need to answer KPDNHEP about your complaint and sometime they just call you to solve it quickly.
