Actually by paper is based on submission date and time via Ringgitplus whatsapp. but actually there are hidden rules suck as quota per bank etc. they also informed me that they follow bank approval date. Quite misleading and look at your luck.

Is your application processed by RHB Staff or RinggitPlus Contact Centre?

haha..means go thru Ringgitplus.. not direct with Bank.. perhaps just cancel the credit card with the bank since they said can't.

Old Process last year was we submit our basic details to RinggitPlus and RinggitPlus will send the details to Bank and Bank will contact the customer for the application
New Process started this year is submit to RinggitPlus , then RinggitPlus process the application and supporting document and send it to Banks for approval. It might just a simple call from the Bank for verification or even no call from Bank.

The Old Process is faster and no delay since there is dedicated Sales Agent in Bank will follow up cases, faster approval. (for my previous CC and I got the Flash Deal gift)
The New Process - They have high number of application and slow process, submit to Banks with batch and slow down the approval process. Bank approved my CC but I was't notified untill I call Bank to check after I saw the record in CCRIS.


And RinggitPlus is pretty not transparent for the selection of the winner. I have been told that there are quota for each bank and selection criteria also based on approval date, not submission date as per in the TnC.
I have even been told they will put me in priority list for next campaign bla bla. So can see is it a "Scam" haha

It was good before 2020. I also got about 1.5k of good and vouchers too (I applied thru Ringgitplus with limited information and only provide supporting document directly to Banks). but now.. things change over the time and they use Flash Sales to attract more people to signup in order to cover the cost of the high value flash deal items. If you notice, they are using over 3K worth of items (or even 1K of Cash)ust want to attract application for few days. Due to surges of application and RinggitPlus Contact Centre is not able to do it fast.(they told me no enough manpower).
Email replies are pretty delayed and need to chase several time before got responded. I notice direct application with Banks is getting easier now since Citi, HSBC are giving out more realistic & guarantee item such as Lazada voucher, TnG Reload Voucher or Grab Reload Code etc..

Actually I also discovered those flash deal by browsing at RinggitPlus website randomly. In fact, based on TnC it is based on the application date and time via whatsapp. Bank has no idea since RinggitPlus is just a agent and get commission for each successful applicants (or other stuff with we are not aware off) They might just simple give a reason since we can't do any thing. The winners are "real" since they did published the list of winner. but the selection criteria is not clear and i believe there are undisclosed criteria which is P&C.
