Hi all, need advise.
I took ASB loan (Maybank) years ago and currently thinking of ending it.
I got 2 choices, either I paid up the remaining balance, or just terminate the loan. Based on your knowledge, which one is better?
Another thing, say I terminate the loan. Will the size of my fund decrease too following the amount of the sijil they take back? For example, cash 190k, sijil 50k, total 240k. Say I terminate loan, they take 40k sijil back, so now total in ASB is 190k cash, 10k sijil, total 200k. Will my maximum amount that i can invest is 200k, or it will still remain 240k?

it will remain more 240k and will increase every year. my app show for me can topup 50k more. i got 200k loan and 23k cash there.

Looking details on the loan makes me realised how much interest it incurred every year. I guess better for me to cancel the loan and put my own money there instead.

For an investor to enquire, if kena rejected malu lah. Criteria shud be crystal clear n documented (but subjected to reviews n change at their prerogative)

as for VIP gift, like i mentioned, just contact your RM. she will always check your deposits (investments), and if it reaches certain threshold within certain time period, she will provide u with the VIP gift (dissapointing gifts most of the time)

u can always ask her whats the current campaign punya target. the target is not same for every campaign period

and as for education, work, and attire and all that - trust me, they dont use these criteria at all. they dont have data even. they just see the amount in your portfolio and maybe how long it has been there. perhaps needs minimum duration of time before they consider you are in to their exclusive marketing club.
