QUOTE(privatequity @ Dec 30 2021, 11:02 AM) Hi everyone, At least you are born in Sabah/Sarawak. You need to convert to bumiputera even though that you still a Chinese. I cannot explain much about this because this is illegal actually. The situation just similar like a rich Chinese person buy a Dato' medal. Only the Chinese from Sabah and Sarawak can use this trick to convert their identity to Sino-native. Your name is still maintaining Chinese name, of course I am a Christian actually. Can I know what are the best ways for Chinese to buy fixed price funds on Amanah unit trust now? Thanks. Only the bumiputera in Sabah and Sarawak have Christians. As you can see for the Iban and Kadazan in Sabah and Sarawak here are half Christians half Islam. After you get a letter that prove that your grandfather or father is Sino-native. Let's say Sino-Dusun. Of course, you are still a Chinese with Chinese name. There have many Sabahan here can be found as Chinese name but they just speak Malays but don't speak Chinese. That kind of Chinese are considered as Sino-native. They are not a pure Chinese because their father get married with a Sabah bumiputera. Their mother is bumiputera but father is Chinese. So if you can prove that your birth letter is Sino-Dusun/Sino-Kadazan/Sino-Iban, so you can proceed to go to JPN to change your IC the race category to bumiputera. With this bumiputera IC, you can now apply ASB directly from the nearest ASNB branch. Everything are fast and smooth. No need to wait so long, just few minutes then done. There must have a certain period that some unit holders might selling out their funds. |

ASM3 2021 full holdings released yesterday, just checked my email this morning.
PNB Merdeka Ventures accounts for 0.81% of ASM3 NAV last year. ![]() Also, from their most recent holdings list, cash is only a mere 6% of NAV, seems like they remain fully invested. International equity accounts for about 24% of NAV. This post has been edited by TOS: Jan 1 2022, 11:39 AM |

Is anyone else finding it very hard to login to the myasnb portal today? I guess it is overloaded by people trying to check that dividends have been properly credited.

Does anyone know when ASB2 dividends get credited? I can see ASB dividends credited in the account but no recent transactions for ASB2.

hi, i am thinking to allocate a certain amount of my investment budget every month to park in my bank to fish for ASM1/2/3. Is that good idea?
before 2020: always wanted to diversify my portfolio to include ASNB. however, I do not have an account and at that time need to physically open account. that time cobid just started and thinking that it will end soon and will go to Menara PNB to open account but LOL.... 2021: late last year i found out i can open an account via app, which I did and started investing with pocket money. (reason being i dont want to disturb my annual investment budget and target) 2022: when doing the budget for 2022, i plan to allocate a small amount per month (say RM500 lahhh), park in bank and and try to fish as and when i remember/free time. *me is non-bumi so only can target on ASM1/2/3. |
